1. Was it Lollo Rosso or Oakleaf?
2. You could but then my iphone would fall out;)
3. Any boy racers out there got any window tinting film about 2"x8" they want to donate to a worthy cause? My new Sony iPhone radio/alarm clocks display is so bright it lights up the whole room keeping me awake. I can pay for postage via Paypal if required, many thanks Swanny the Insomniac
4. Oh the irony!
5. Bates is scum, i'll happily post my copy of Broken Dreams to anybody who wants it FOC (provided i can find it!) it included 2 chapters on Bates and the time he had to be rescued by our armed forces in the Caribbean due to his dodgy dealing upsetting the locals. If Leeds ever manage to get back to the Premiership he would fail the 'fit and proper' tests in an instant.
6. I like it, bit different but much the better for it
7. Oooooh, that sounds expensive.
8. Could be a turbo hose has split, that would account for the hissing, but not the rattle?
9. Short piece in one of the red tops stating that he maybe coming back due to fall out with Milan, we can only hope it's true!
10. Anyone know off or have access to cheap car hire in Sydney? I'm looking to hire between Dec 24th. 21:00hrs and Jan 7th. 15:00 from Sydney International (Kingsford-Smith) i'm looking for something interesting, best thing so far is a Fiat 500 for £325 but i'm 6ft 2"! Willing to pay upto £5-600 for the right car. Also if i've found a VW Golf from a rental place, does anyone know how to ensure that it is a Golf and not one of the 'options' which could be anything from a Kia to a Hyundai?
11. I was considering renewing my ST but if Adams is appointed i'll spend my money elsewhere, this will kill all the goodwill in one swoop IMHO.
12. They actually used to put petrol into diesel during the winter months to stop it freezing, personally i would have carries on as normal and just remember to put derv in next time.
13. Thanks for the loyalty Kelvin, becoming rarer and rarer these days, Cheers.
14. Hate to put a fly in the ointment, but he's seriously deluded if he expects patience from the vocal minority. Good luck to the bloke seems to have his head screwed on right from what he has said so far.
15. According to somebody ITK about 80% of punters came on wednesday compared to 40-60% in previous years.
16. I saw about 5 people wearing Saints shirts whilst working including a little lad of about 6 or 7 who i swear i saw last year! Also saw a couple by the Orange tent and a woman with a Saints carrier bag walking the drag from the main meeting point to the Pyramid via the cider bus (miserable cuunt, unlike his staff!). On the working front be aware that if you want paying and entry you'll be working so hard that you'll probably be too knackered to want to go out and about. Once again the punters ruined the festival by turning up, but it was great when they all fooked off on Monday;)
17. Just back from the site after dropping off the accomodation , without wanting to tempt fate it's currently dry and covered with acres of lush green grass:D The atmosphere on site is currently chilled and relaxed which i've not experienced at this stage before, so hopefully thumbs up it will remain so. There appears to be quite alot of change around where i camp/caravan (I market) with the Leftfield tent having moved about 50-75M towards the Jazz World stage and a new meeting place/village green having appeared in its place, it also looked like a new stage has appeared in the field behind (down the hill from the Acoustic Stage towards the Circus Area/Big Skate Ramp) no other info at present. I'll try and use my iphone to send messages, photos and any gossip i hear, but to all those going have a great time. New stage (Queen's Head) and Village Green where Leftfield Tent used to be, "]"]"]"]
18. We'll caravan is packed, battery charged, shower working, mucho booze overload and i'm taking it down on Saturday afternoon, i'll try and take some decent photos so you know what to expect. FAO Glastonbury Virgins! All you need to take is money, wellies, baby wet wipes, comfort clothes spray and deodorant;)
19. It's not right, but i don't see the point in the media getting involved.
20. The best bar/pub used to be a marquee in Jazz World Camping which was then set up like a boozer, quality.
21. So far it; £762 with Air China and a 24 hr. stopover in Beijing Vs. Etihad £808
22. Bugger, i'll have to check but for some reason £280 is ringing more bells, even then it's still ferkin' cheap, and no i don't think it makes me a better fan (do people still argue about who's the better fan?)
23. They got them, they just didn't buy into the media hype.
24. If you bothered to have a seasn ticket before you would know that renewal last season was only £280 for an adult in the Northam which works out at £12.50 a game.
25. It's pretty much the same sort of bands that played in the Leftfield tent mixed and combined with the QUeen's head, it opens Thursday and the lineup look good. Have a look at the Official Glasto Facebook or website it's got maps and the line-ups.
