spot on, football is a results driven game and I would rather go and watch my team win than spend a season and money watching them get hammered every week. I could not give a **** who is in charge as long as they get results and play decent football. I do not have to speak to the manager, or meet the manager so what ****in difference does it make who it is

I think Beattie is one of those players that will have lots of divided opinion. I personally didn't think he was great, he had one good season in which he went on an amazing scoring run and got some great goals. But overall throughout watching him since he signed for saints I thought his touch was poor, his passing was poor and he missed more than he scored. Hats off to him though he was a handful and put himself about whenever put the red and white on
