  1. It might be worth listening to radio Hampshire tonight between 6-8, I hear Crouch will be interviewed, and there may be a phone in.
  2. Leicester: As part of the deal which brought the club out of receivership, the ownership of the stadium reverted to American company Teachers Insurance, who had supplied £28 million via a bond scheme towards the stadium's construction, with the club taking a long-term lease while the bond repayments were made.
  3. Who suggested that the City should buy it? All I said was that Leeds council used to own Eland road, but now a company owns it, which was in response to someone who had said this would not happen. I love people who twist posts to suit themselves.
  4. Elland Road, Im pretty sure Leeds rent it, used to be owned by Leeds council i think, but was sold to another company when leeds went into Admin.
  5. It has nothing to do with having things to hide, its about what i could lose. i have given weston an option on contact, if he chooses to then i will talk to him, thats my choice, and frankly i care little if you don't like that.
  6. Sorry to tight to pay £5 so dont have PM, give me your email if you like, I just wont be posting who it is on here.
  7. Very wrong on all counts.
  8. 5 million would be great, shame he has delt for half (or so im told) of that from Fulham though. but hey, maybe what i have been told is wrong.
  9. Word is it's a done deal with Fulham,(strange choice of clubs if you ask me) don't ask who told me, as i won't say, I just hope it's not true.
  10. Obviously Man City have a bigger fanbase than us, and they are a bigger club, I would say Norwich are possibly the best example of a club who have been through some poor years and are still getting consistently better crowds than us.Norwich have a chairwoman who has pride and passion for the club, we have Rupert and Mike who have never shown an ounce of pride or passion, Delia (embarrassing as it was) shouted at them for poor support, and demanded passion, the two morons we have cant communicate with each other let alone us "Rupert where are you...lets be avin ya" people will turn out for pride and passion, they wont show for people with no respect.
  11. Research carried out by Manchester City estimates a fan base of 886,000 in the United Kingdom and a total in excess of 2 million worldwide. They have around 846,000 UK based fans missing each week even in the top flight.... I know exactly what he is getting at, and yes gates have fallen, but only back to our normal level. its not far off the sort of gates we had at the dell for years, and is probably about the right amount for the city of our size, Derby, Stoke, Barnsley, Wolverhampton, Oldham, Rochdale Milton Keynes, all have similar populations to ours, I bet not many of those would have a similar gate under the same circumstances that we are in. So many fans came for the glory days of the Prem and the longer we are struggling the less the kids will find us attractive to watch and the cycle will go on for years, but you can't pin the blame on the fans, if you dish up sh*t people won't eat.
  12. Population of the City of Southampton 228,600 (2007 est) population of City of Manchester 458,100 (2007 est). On that basis our crowds Should be less than half of what City's were. and dont give it the you forgot about Utd and other clubs rubbish, as they are not in The City of Manchester, we have been supporting above the size of our city for years, feel free to do a load of comparisons, i for one would be interested to see where we stand
  13. Can't stand the thought of going down again, but think i would rather go down fighting than because of points deducted. but i want those fools out, so if your going to go down anyway at least start again without them, I don't know whats best. when is the cut off point for the deduction taking place this season? else we could go down and start next season on minus....or would that happen either way?
  14. That high? I have decided to laugh now, else i would go mad. sad thing is, this is nowhere near how bad this is going to get.
  15. Your identity is of little importance to me, much like anything you have to say. I was merely responding to a post with something that was mentioned to me. Request my details from the admins, I am happy for them to pass them on; I have no problems what so ever discussing any of this with you, face to face, or if you would prefer to remain hidden behind a keyboard or a phone, im happy that as well. Or you can just jog on, choice is yours.
  16. Maybe he's getting paid for it word is he's the man behind this company.. http://www.sundance-creative.com/aboutus.html no idea if it's true, heard it third hand.
  17. I never booed, but a few around me did, to be honest i think it was aimed at the ref, as those booing were also shouting comments to him. He did have a poor game, but our defending was laughable today. big shame as i was really looking forward to it, It looks like it will be that sort of season, inconsistant, but sometimes exciting.
  18. I was briefly talking with Wotte at the fun day, (seemed a nice guy, took time to talk to the kids and have pics taken) someone asked him why Saga was training, he did not answer the question, got the impression he chose not to hear the question.
  19. 17th, I hope it's a lot better, but I can't see it myself.
  20. No idea if this has already been posted, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?xml=/money/2008/08/10/ccgo110.xml
