Morally no but them is the rules, and not just ones AA has made up.
-
Although AA quoted the number 'for' actually given that not voting is the equivalent of voting for his task should have been fairly easy as it really just involved counting the votes against and subtracting the percentage these related to from 100. When he says 80 odd percent voted for what he actually means is that 20% voted against and the remaining 80 either voted for or did not vote. As he has named who voted against you would think that if someone else voted against but was not mentioned that they would have chirped up by now?
-
Given the minimum attributed to HMRC was 21% can't see hoe he has managed to get to the 80% figure?

In my works 'predict the score for points' competition that was the first match where not one person out of 35 got the right result. Only one entrant got points for predicting the right winner and that was probably the randomly generated one whose task is to embarrass people who get less points.

The related article quite interesting http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2010/06/15/portsmouth-why-thursdays-creditors-meeting-means-so-much-to-so-many-not-least-the-helpless-fans-150602/ or has that been posted earlier? Interesting that it says So if it up to 14 days unless extended by a court where does AA get his 21 days from?

Does cheating count?? -
Correct, assuming you mean the Conference South and not in with the big boys.
-
That would depend on whether AA gets away with shafting the creditors or not. If he is shown up for what he is doing and HMRC win a victory on all points not only will he have shown that he has failed in that task but also, unlike the previous case of him loading the books, it will be in a very public case. After pompey anyone employing him is going to be treated with great suspicion.

Another article on the Ukulele-ian rumour. Though sounds like just recycling the news article. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1285717/Mystery-Ukrainian-consortium-running-seal-deal-crisis-club-Portsmouth.html?ito=feeds-newsxml What I want to know is how he thinks he can get someone to agree to buy them before the CVA has been agreed?
-
Well they would bring consistency of owner type with them...

It was in the article http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1261261/Portsmouth-hit-new-tax-evasion-claim.html?ITO=1490 which is the first mention, I think, of the current charge against storrie.

Forgot in all the excitement that Storrie was in court yesterday for the initial hearing over the additional berkovic allegation. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jun/09/peter-storrie-portsmouth-tax-court It is alleged that between 1 January 2005 and 28 November 2007, in his position as club chief executive, he arranged a termination payment to Berkovic via the account of Medellin Enterprises Ltd, a company registered in the British Virgin Islands, causing the failure of the club to operate PAYE and account for income tax and National Insurance contributions in respect of the payment. District Judge Timothy Workman ordered the case to be sent to Southwark Crown Court for a further hearing at 10am on 13 September. Sounds very clear cut to me so assuming they have documentation to confirm the allegations its going to be hard for Storrie to win I would guess.
-
That would be logical, but then Logic appears to have gone on a long holiday with Reason and Sense as far as the situation at pompey is concerned.
-
What are the mechanics of the vote again? Do they need 75% of the total to vote for it or 75% of those that bother to vote? Is there a default position for those that don't vote? are they assumed to be for or against the CVA?
-
Is that 25% after rounded up or down? Would be a bit more than a tad suspicious if HMRC ended up with 24.99%?

I like this quote from the news... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/frattonlatest/BenHaim-and-Boateng-first-out.6326297.jp But Andrew Andronikou has pledged nobody will be allowed to leave on the cheap. Ben-Haim is lined up for a free transfer to West Ham once Avram Grant is unveiled as their manager.

Have you ever considered getting a job as an administrator of a football club?

Apparently Mandaric charged over this new allegation as well. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/Storrie-and-Mandaric-charged-with.6317253.jp I wonder if there they will get a bulk discount on penalty points?

I hope all this time with the police is not distracting him from selling players and finding a new manager http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1281148/Ex-Portsmouth-chairman-play-key-role-finding-crisis-clubs-new-manager.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
