Agree wholeheartedly that this idea of getting in Man City / other youf for cheap and then selling for high bucks is a busted flush. We should be buying players to make us more successful on the pitch, not for resale value. Last time we did that was in the Koeman era

Thats the least of his problems. His positioning is clueless and wafer thin wrist strength and inability to save anything low down to the left and inability to command the box are even bigger problems

I agree with you - he is far from good enough. Problem is nobody at the club seems to have noticed! Hope you are right and we get at least a half decent keeper in but I doubt it will happen

There is obviously an issue with the "senior players". Still did himself no favours with his lack of tactics, 5 at the back, lack of direction but it does look like these players have not helped and did not stand up to fight for the team in any way. I wonder if there is any truth in the rumour that these same senior players want Lego Head back. If its true, it doesn't surprise me as they will be getting off the hook with love ins and easy times at training. It also makes the decision to extend captain Jack's contract even more bizarre imo

Is there anything to read into the sacking of the backroom staff? Does it suggest we have somebody lined up who wants to bring their own staff or is it simply they were all crap

It's the same every week - start with 5 at the back, 7 defensive players in the team. Go behind and then randomly chuck on more and more attackers. I do not see any way Still will change or improve. He needs to go now.
