I've just woken from a dream - Thatcher & Lowe on one plane. Up to you whether it was a happy ending or not.... (but the last thing I remember hearing was 'we haven't got enough fuel').

If you smoke then getting chickenpox at a later age is a great way to give up. I got it in my 30's and was so sick (it's way, way more than just a few 'nasty rashes') that I hardly ate for a week, let along smoke or drink. When I came through it and got a bit of appetite I kinda fancied a smoke but didn't. It seemed a shame to waste the enforced nicotine withdrawal. I haven't smoke since. In all seriousness if you are older and get it then be careful. Around 10 blokes in their 30's die every year cos they get it. I had the doctor visit the house twice - in the end I was given Morphine (great stuff that is - I can see how junkies become addicted - one minute you feel like death, the next you are sat there grinning).

Sammy Lee. Still the only Saints player I could not support. Was a thread about this sort of thing before and someone added that when he played for Saints (for Saints this is!) at Anfield he did a lap of honour for the Lpool fans and pretty much ignored the Saints traveling support. I'm a 100% 'anyone but Liverpool' for the league title. Even more so when I see that smarmy little git on the bench there.

Stupid f****n game anyway. Couldn't believe it at the end. Arizona somehow got themselves into pole position and now it's 'just stop em getting into field goal range'. Naah - f**** that, just give em a touchdown instead. Unbelievable. Broncos v Saints Superbowl this time next year. Guaranteed!

Well I've backed Arizona at 6/1 and will not sell the bet. v Atlanta - no chance @ Carolina - even less of a chance v Eagles - Eagles were favs Final outcome? Arizona are in the Superbowl. Of the all the post-season games Arizona have looked the best. Forget that they haven't got to the Superbowl for a 'million years' they are there on genuine merit. You can currently get over 2/1 on them winning it. You will definitely get a run for your money. Talking of betting - have you seen just how many things you can bet on to do with this game? Distance of 1st punt? Yardage of 1st penalty flag? You name it - you can bet on it! A tip for next season. Denver Broncos. Currently priced at 33/1. You heard it here first.

LOL - just got a quick 250 in there. It's quite addictive actually. Lowe on 105 (million) and Thatcher on 4.6. Like you say it is some achievement to get him to number one when you see the list he's up against.

My wife was hypnotised to stop smoking. She paid about 100 quid and afterwards came out and said 'what a lot of ****** - a waste of time and money - she didn't hypnotise me at all'. She had saved one cigarette and lit that when she got home. Yep - what a waste of time that was I thought. However she had a couple of drags, threw the rest of it away & that was the last time she ever smoked!!! That is about 4 or 5 years ago now. She smoked 20+ a day so was a fairly heavy smoker. Dunno how/why it worked but it did. Very spooky stuff but (in this case) you can't argue with the results.

Another Chris Nicholl one. Not quite as good as TameSaint's but was good for me at the time. I was about 11 or 12 & autograph hunting in The Dell car park on a non-match day (the players would turn up for training). I'm sure a lot of us did that over the years. Chris Nicholl had just signed as a player very recently. I was the only one around and he came out of a gate in the West Stand near to where I was. I recognised him and asked for his autograph. Instead of the usual 'sure' and a quick scrawl before jumping in his car he started to chat. He asked me what the names of the stands were and wanted to know where all the 'singers' went. I happily told him all he needed to know and we parted our ways. Of course Chris Nicholl was now my best mate. I do wonder if he politely asked this of anyone else? Of course not!! I was the one & only person to tell him that The Milton, was indeed The Milton. It was excellent when my close, personal friend became manager & (still) a travesty that he was sacked (to be replaced by Branfoot).

Back in the early 90's I was working as a juggler in Bournemouth Precinct. Having to go through the usual cr*p of drawing a crowd I notice this bloke, his wife & kids sat on one of the benches eating burgers. It was only Matt Le Tiss! I didn't make a spectacle of him but it did put me right off. This was when he was at the height of his goal-scoring feats. Cliched as it is he really was just sat around eating a burger. Top man.

'Eerie, Indiana' - sounds like where I live. Never heard of this program though - will have to check it out. Do you know if it's actually filmed in Indiana? If you see lots of corn & soy fields, then it most probably is.

Agree there. This is the only USA sitcom I've ever been able to handle. Despite it's potentially awful title 'Two & A Half Men' is bloody good. It's pretty near the knuckle for when it gets shown here as well (7pm). Plenty of fart gags, wan**** jokes and any amount of sh***ging inuendo (subtle and not-so...) Is this on in the UK now then? What time & channel?

http://www.atdhe.net/live-tv-2015.html is a brilliant picture. Shame the commentary (in French) is louder than the crowd. Plus you can't make the screen bigger. But it is def the best around at the moment (44 mins into the 1st half)

I live in Colts land. Their pre-season training camp was about a mile away from where I live. As it stands they will probably be away to the Broncos in the play-offs. The Broncos will win. Broncos will win the AFC and Carolina will win the NFC. Broncos will win the Superbowl. Where in Indy do your relatives live?

I see they are all due to shut early next year. Even money that the one in Totton turns into a Wetherspoons.
