  1. Most/all of the old posters have the old kit in them, so they needed changing anyway.
  2. Another idea would be to not buy this shirt. Although that seems a step too far for some who don't like it.
  3. I think you've spent more time moaning about the moaning than I have commenting on the shirt, chump. I don't like it. I won't buy it. That's as far as it goes for me; same as last year. But lets remember where we were 4 years ago, eh?
  4. The old "look where we were x years ago" line is still getting played out. Good work.
  5. What is it that's happening, I wonder? If its a soulless re-branding exercise, then yes, it's certainly happening.
  6. Oh I think there are plenty who knew how this would go down; simply that its an edict right from the top that stripes are likely to be a thing of the past.
  7. I doubt they'll care less Diggers. Just that there will plenty more to talk about when the season gets underway. I still find last year's kit as hopeless as when I first saw it. I imagine it will be the same with this one. At the moment it is the main talking point, it will naturally get masked by more relevant points as the season progresses.
  8. And if DellDays isn't bothered by it then, by God, no-one else should be bothered about it.
  9. A quite excellent point.
  10. Colin, you are a gentleman
  11. The only good thing I can say about that hideous shirt is that Help for Heroes get £20 from me. It looks even worse than the previous leak; dreadfully tacky. I think our kit "design" team must be blind. At Bristol City had the good sense to keep their logo etc in keeping with the red and white theme. Red, white and chav gold looks atrocious.
  12. Badge is too low compared to the adidas logo, and the blue of it looks weird on red. And they've gone for a massive red sticker as the main sponsor instead of adjusting the stripes of the shirt. Horrible.
  13. Ramirez is 22. He's not a young developing lad like Luke Shaw, he's a year younger than Jack Cork and Morgan Schneiderlin. He SHOULD be playing loads of games at this stage of his career.
  14. I'll be very surprised if Poyet is telling the whole truth that he genuinely had no idea about this. He's been playing games with Brighton throughout, he refused to turn up for the original hearing. F*ck him, he's been angling for a move away and it sounds like he's been shafted for it. Good.
  15. He's a slimy tw*t.
  16. Poyet is presenting on BBC for the Confeds. Just announcing it now.
  17. He really was a pointless fat c*nt. Probably still is TBF.
  18. As well as the fact that red and white stripes are far too commonplace and we're creating a new distinctive brand with our never seen before all-red attire.
  19. New AC Milan shirts Swap the black stripes for white, swap the white adidas stripes for black, remove the Italian flag and that would be a shirt reminiscent of our old 1970s cup final era stripes.

  21. I think he sponsored SRS a ton for his Brighton ultimate marathon too. A generous man, but still a loony.
  22. A separate thing, but Channon Jnr's Windmill Diaries were a classic.
  23. In light of the other thread running. Which posters did you used to enjoy on here, but don't any more? Apparently there are lots, so lets have a list. For me, only a couple: 19 Canteen, a fantastic loony; and StuRomseySaint, a poor old soul but capable of causing an e-riot on here. You?
