  1. Cry me a river. This new system is IMO the fairest way of prioritising tickets, as it rewards those to go to the most home AND away games. Once it gets going properly and people's levels of loyalty points are more established it will become even fairer; season ticket holders will likely have more points than non ST holders, and ST holders who've been to some away games will have firther priority still. And it perhaps encourages people to go to away games where they may previously have opted not to, so as to build up the points level.
  2. Did you not see the swathes of empty seats in the Saints end at Man City? We won't sell out all of our away games. The London clubs, most likely we will, plus Reading of course and maybe the Midlands clubs will get close to or at our capacity. But I imagine you'll have little problem getting tickets for Everton away which will get your points up in time for West Ham away.
  3. No. Are you? It's why I said it "seems" like they don't need to sell. They may do, but there has been no major exodus from St Andrews over the summer and have brought in players who will likely be earning in the upper wage bracket for the Championship. Also a new manager who has publicly stated that it would take silly money to take away his star players. So I'll stand by opinion thanks. It seems like they don't need to sell.
  4. Been thinking about this one; as much as it would be a great signing I think we'd have to break the bank for him, and I'm not sure if I think that's worthwhile. He's worth £5M IMO but not upwards of £7M or £8M. And Brum don't seem to need to sell, he's not itching for a move away, it could be a very tough sell.
  5. Unfortunately our wonderful online system fails to recognise such trivial matters. The Man Utd game has been sold out for a week or so, but you have to physically view every single block of the stadium to actually realise this.
  6. Well done for missing the point, and glossing over the points I've actually made in this thread, where I've actually conceded that some people probably do formulate an opinion based upon race. And you accuse me of point scoring?! How wonderful. I did enjoy how you classified this as a "rant" though. Are you that intolerant that you consider an opposite viewpoint to yours as one spoken purely out of anger? Interesting.
  7. What would you like to know Tim? That I have friends? That could be an alien concept to you, I suppose.
  8. What has that got to do with me having an opinion, you silly little man? If it helps your straw man argument, I spent most of yesterday evening in and around the company of some of my multicultural friends, but that's neither here nor there and entirely irrelevant. You daft bigot.
  9. Ha ha; if it helps I'll ping off some private messages to the mods for you pal
  10. Of course there are probably some idiots who will discriminate through colour. I'd like to think they are fanastically in the minority, and my experience around Saints fans would suggest that's true, but who truly knows? What gets me is when ignorant people like Timbuctoo try and speak on behalf of a substantial number of the population in response to a general viewpoint about the merits of a particular footballer, and wade in brandishing the race card. Its a fantastically naive, thoroughly unnecessary and wholly abject point of view to claim a consistent racist view is an often occurring incident, without any true knowledge of what you're actually talking about. But then I find Timmy to be a bit of an objectionable pr*ck at the best of times, so I shouldn't be surprised at his nonsensical ramblings I suppose.
  11. Its not outrage. Its a desire to not be associated with the claptrap currently emanating from your keyboard.
  12. Speak for yourself Tim. Don't ever presume to peddle that nonsense onto me, thank you very much.
  13. The racism jab really boils my p*ss. It really does. Such lazy and self-righteous bullsh*t from idiots who haven't got a grip on reality and love getting a bit of faux outrage.
  14. No he wouldn't. Poor analogy.
  15. 27 years old, Championship team of the year last season, English player, Premier League experience. Of course it all depends on what Birmingham will take and how much he wants to get away, but I'd have though no less than £5M in the current (ridiculously inflated) market.
  16. Impending doom. They really are in trouble.
  17. Your harsh words have cut me to the quick. Lesson learnt
  18. Bear, I humbly bow to your greater knowlege and apologise for my insolence.
  19. No it isn't. It is a representation of the average of how we lined up, in defence and attack. JWP and Morgan pretty much alongside each other; one sometimes breaking forward while the other one holds, but interchangeable so they both can do it. And Lallana is, predominantly, a more advanced role than the two of them, who played a very similar role to each other.
  20. Over 100 caps at international level. Zinedine Kilbane
  21. What's with talking normally Bear? New leaf?
  22. Yes please. Cracking player, was one I identified at the start of summer that I'd love for us to go for.
  23. Don't give up. Explain it. And also shurlock's point too, it was a good one. You say we have a very definite formation when defending. OK. Why do we not have a very definite formation when attacking? Its not as if deefnders suddenly think "f*ck it, I could score here, I'm off upfield". They're disciplined to know their positions and their role in it. You think our formation is different when we have the ball, and when we attack. I just want to know what the difference is to our defensive formation. Apart from the fact that its difficult for you to give a lable to.
  24. So we don't have a formation when we're in posession?
  25. You didn't answer my question. Nonetheless, will you perhaps respond to shurlock's point though? I believe it's quite valid.
