  1. Same. The defending was shocking for that goal, ok Bazunu wasn’t brilliant but he certainly wouldn’t have been the first one I’d have blamed for it.
  2. Southampton head coach Russell Martin told BBC Radio Solent: "Their (winning) goal came out of nothing. It shouldn't go in and Gavin (Bazunu) should do better. He'll know that.

  4. How do we concede a goal from this? Smallbone, Brooks and Rothwell do literally nothing to block the shot.
  5. That third goal is just criminal bottling defending.
  6. Rothwell just stood and watched.
  7. Fuck me. So poor.
  8. That’s not a red card. Definite foul, definite yellow, but Stephens was covering.
  9. I don’t disagree with the second bit. I thought Baz was weak for the first goal but I’d give him a pass on the second one being as it went through THB.
  10. A bit unfair, it went through THB’s legs.
  11. Doubt it, if he’s serving his notice. I imagine the fee was to release him from his terms, sounds like he’ll just do gardening leave and join Man U when that’s done.
  12. Yes and sort of, Stephens is sort of in a free role. It’s quite odd but it’s been a bloody good half tbf.
  13. Very good half that.
  14. I believe it’s exactly what the club did with Shields, and they were definitely pissed off with him.
  15. If true, perhaps because Saints are pissed off that another new recruit has been tempted away within months so just playing hardball and making him see out his terms.
  16. It certainly seemed that was his opinion of it.
  17. Bree’s delivery so far has been way off.
  18. That is shit goalkeeping.
  19. Well there it is.
  20. Sky showing the lineup at Stephens LB, Bree RB. Actual lineup……looks like they’re right.

  22. Tbf watching it back at half time it looked like Diaz himself was in an onside position when Salah headed it forward. However there were at least two or three Liverpool players in an offside position right in front of the keeper who I’d say were definitely interfering with play even if they didn’t make an attempt to play the ball. The defender touching it though made that irrelevant. Dopey rule.
