  1. Good improv there from Fandab. More please Saints!
  2. Sort of following today. Have SSN on at the 'rents house but they're trying to wrestle control... Second goal please Saints. Would be nice to not have to worry about a game as it enters the closing stages.
  3. Boxing day game... notoriously high scoring games. 5-2 the Saints. Smallbone to boss it.
  4. Fantasy signings in Jan - strengthen the spine. Ronnie Edwards, Jordan James, Bojan Miovski. Bosh. I do hope the club has one eye on next season as a Championship team should the worst happen and we don’t go up this season. This league would be weaker next season and, if we don’t go up, we need to smash it.
  5. 31st January - "We have decided to give Adams another chance rather than sign a new striker. Also we have accepted a £30 million bid from West Ham for KWP and we are delighted to welcome home Cedric Soares as his replacement from Arsenal." 😁 All joking aside I think our excellent use of the loan window in the summer bodes us well this season and I reckon we'll see at least one loanee to bolster the squad in January. #notcot #notitk #justguessing
  6. Miovski MOTM with a double last night for the Dons. #miovskiwatch
  7. Last time I went to Loftus Road was when I left Car Giant with my mum, went the wrong way and ended up sailing through Shepherd's Bush and past the ground. We only needed to join the A40 and we'd have sailed home but NOOOOOO, she knew better. Pah.
  8. Not sure who - The top 6 managers are all stable and doing well, I think you have to go down to Norwich before you see a manager that could be in a little bit of trouble in Wagner. Swansea and Plymouth don't have managers right now but are they big enough propositions for Cooper? Apparently Palace are monitoring the situation with a view to getting him to replace Hodgson.
  9. Ah cot. I'm a big fan. I love the way they wrinkle their little cot noses and brush their whiskers and... no that's cat. I'm thinking of cats.

  11. They lost to Wednesday (who like QPR are improving) in the last game but before that they got 10 points in 4 games. QPR should not be underestimated and I do think our unbeaten run will end soon, we're due some bad luck somewhere... ...but I don't think it will be here. The likes of Aribo have come in recently and shown they can do a job and, just maybe, scoring 4 at Blackburn may give the lads the confidence to score some more goals. 1-3 Saints but it's a tough place to go.
  12. There are a few honourable mentions - Stu (new lease of life), Downes (very important to the way we play), THB (when he started the defence improved), Bednarek (who has improved since THB played alongside him) and AA (goals and work-rate) but KWP has to be the player of the season so far. He is a Premier League player and, at present, we are lucky to have him. Bar AA though it's noticeable that we don't have any other attacking players to nominate. Fraser has been good sporadically, Carlos and Sulemana have underachieved, Edozie was dropped for a long time, Adams and Mara haven't done anything. Attack definitely needs looking at in the window unless some existing players find form over the Christmas period.

    Flynn Downes

He's been a bit out of form of late but his early season form didn't surprise me at all. He was fresh and ready to go. Considering he covers every inch of grass on a football pitch multiple times a game, and almost never misses a minute, it's not surprising he drifts in and out of form as he's probably knackered. Downes is a West Ham fan and will be going back to them off the back of being one of the best midfielders in the Championship (the sort of players West Ham look to sign - Bowen/Benrahma etc) - I really don't think he'll be playing for any team bar the one at E20 next season. I'd love it to be us but I can't see it, even if we go up.
  14. If Vestergaard can make a passable attempt at being a CB in the Championship, I think Bednarek and Stephens can. Granted they're not perfect and will make the odd mistake but they're probably better than most others in this league. Absolutely both would need replacing if we went up though as first choice - there's a reason why we sent them out on loan in the Prem.

This. A short term loan on a striker that knows the club, has scored goals before and is currently fit is a no brainer - especially as we still hope to have Stewart fit in the long term. I'd like a poll on this - I'm surprised people are against it. If WH are interested in KWP, I still think Ben Johnson comes our way. Positionally it's about as like for like as you can get.
  16. 3 CBS with Charles as back up would worry me - we need 4 CBS. Whether that's Holgate or someone else I don't care, but fewer than 4 over a long season (where we've already shown we needed Holgate at times) would worry me if we want to battle for promotion. Yeah this. THB and Bednarek have been doing fine. Just because Jack is captain doesn't mean we have to play him. Unfortunately he got injured and our defence improved. His time will come.
  17. Stoke goalscorer: Gooch, assisted by Bae. One way to scratch that itch.
  18. Bosh. Watford are in for it next week! 😁 Two points gained on Leeds and Ipswich. Onwards and upwards. Pleased to hear people say Aribo had a good game. Maybe finally fulfilling the reason we signed him. Looking forward to the highlights.
  19. I missed it. I missed this game. Bollocks.
  20. I bet Ed's jizzing in his knickers right now. Come on Norwich!
  21. A left back so crap even he was surprised we signed him. 😀
  22. I'd take Ings for half a season if it's between him and sticking with what we have. Ideally we need two strikers in for Mara and Adams but I can't see that happening.
  23. Blackburn are the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde side recently, win one minute, lose the next. They won their last game so...... 🤞
  24. I think we should sign 23 year old Togo International and Belgian League top scorer Kevin Denkey this January from Cercle Brugge. I have done thorough scouting on this goal scoring striker that involved Googling who the top scorer was in Belgium at present. HTH. 😀
  25. 🎵Martin baby, play Edozie, Fraser and Bree for me, I've been an awfully good boy, Martin baby, and go and sign a striker tonight. 🎵
