I don't hate it, it's neat and tidy but it lacks incisiveness and we look iffy against the counter attack. With better players this system would look great. We clearly need a good striker in and if that is not Ross due to fitness then someone else needs to be brought in in January. Continue with Adams and Mara as the only non-AA options (who is better out wider anyway) and we will not go up.

We look better than we are - if that makes sense. It looks like we're bossing the game but we aren't really doing much with it. Some decent passes strung together, a bit of decent vision and then it seems to go nowhere and Coventry are then ready on the Counter attack. AA smashes one over the bar...

I'm stuck at work and have Sky Go but apparently it doesn't support the red button facility. The SS app does apparently so I'm looking into that. My usual stream isn't working so if the SS app doesn't work then I'm reduced to SSNews and BBC website/SaintsWeb.

Shame as it would have been interesting playing a 6th tier team but hey, even if we play the likes of Edozie, SAA, Mara up top we should have enough to beat Walsall. I mean, if Mara can't score against Walsall then...

The all important battle for 3rd place hots up. 😄 Annoyingly Coventry are starting to find some form, 3 wins in their last 4, but we should still have enough to beat them. This is one of those games we draw and pat ourselves on the back afterwards like it's a job well done, but we've dropped enough stupid points this season so I'm going with a Saints win - 1-0.

If I remember correctly I think it was Che who was the goal scuffer. Fair play to AA for stepping up this year. Confidence does wonders to a player and i love his work rate and attitude. Leading by example.

We can't do much about the 3 teams above us, all we can do is keep trying to win and keep pace with them and hope they'll trip up at some point. We still have to play them so...
