  1. Yeah, there's something wrong with his feet and he hasn't always been like that. Immediately after the goal yesterday he seemed to be hobbling a bit from one foot to the other. But what to do?
  2. No thanks, I remember the bad times too.
  3. Because we wouldn't play two up front?
  4. It could have been simpler - whistle, then silence ended by the Last Post.
  5. I was impressed by the speed with which Tadic left the pitch when substituted. I never knew he had it in him.
  6. There is no such thing as a poor rendition. The poignancy and significance of the piece transcends all performances.
  7. Bringing anybody on in the last few minutes is always asking a lot. He won't have had time to get the feel of the ball or the pace of the pitch. Having said that, JWP's first touch was to put over a better corner than we had seen all match.
  8. I was at the game and when the goal went in I couldn't quite work out what had happened but when I saw it again on MOTD I couldn't really see what more Forster could have done. His initial position was good, he dived at full stretch and the ball went well past the end of his fingers and just inside the post. He wasn't late to the ball, it was just well-placed. What do you think should have happened? He was at fault at Brighton but yesterday was not a blatant error. I haven't found any criticism of him in the media. There is plenty to complain about, how the cross was allowed unopposed, how Yoshida didn't prevent a clean header but more importantly why weren't we already several goals ahead? It's a sorry state of affairs when the keeper is criticised for not saving a goalless draw at home.
  9. It seemed to come from over in that corner but there's no need for all the other sheep to follow them. The announcement was clear enough but in my opinion there should be a period of silence followed immediately by the Last Post.
  10. Gabbi was already over at the touch line when his number was held up so he must have known before that he was going to be subbed. Perhaps he had signalled to the bench? The game turned on the substitutions. After Dyche made his swaps we looked lacked direction.
  11. I'd like to think that Hoedt would have done better than Yoshida against that header today.
  12. Just voted... didn't bother watching the other efforts.
  13. Well done. Alternatively you could spend it on something other than an ST, something with a better return
  14. OBE = Other Buggers' Efforts MBE = My Bloody Effort
  15. Have you sold them and crystalised your gain, or is it a paper profit?
  16. Nor can I. For me there is a whiff of tulip mania about it.
  17. A great professional and a great example to others. Congratulations from me.
  18. Up his arse?
  19. I would question your basic premise here. If we were relegated it would not be the end of the world for the club.
  20. To be honest I've felt that way about a lot of the Prenier League matches that I've seen so far. I sat through Man Utd v Spurs yesterday and nearly fell asleep.
  21. Play at a hgher tempo. Move the ball on quicker. Actually, just move quicker would be a start.
  22. For once I agreed with their analysis of us. Well coached but perhaps over-coached. Far too rigid.
  23. And Selhurst Park is 66 miles. There's only one derby that matters. I can't quite remember their name.
  24. I met someone in Costa Rica who followed Derby because of Paulo. Makes a nice changhe from Man Utd or Liver(f....g)pool.
  25. Boohoo? Did he want to sign him as well???
