I would play Shaw ahead of Fox and tell him to sit back and not allow Hoillett room. I would also get Cork to man mark Granero (if he's up to it).

I like Martin Olsson, I really do, going forward he is fricking dynamite. However, he is so bad defensively that I'm really not sure the advantage of buying him, and especially spending that much. Peoples main issue with Fox is his defensive work. Olsson's wouldn't really improve this.

Exactly. We made a lack of quality, proven signings in the Summer. Collins, Jaaskelainen, Benayoun, Carroll, Diame were all free or loans. It is ridiculous that we did not look at these players.

They have a much better team than we do, they strengthened in the correct areas. It was as if Sam Allardyce had managed in the Premier League before and realise a) how to set up a team to do well in Premier League (b) knows which areas of the team are important to strengthen.
