Lambert looked fine against City when he came on. I also think he can easily interchange with Lallana, Guly and Ramirez, by dropping deep, thus allowing Guly to stretch them with his pace.

And that's fair enough. It's not difficult to write something without trying to be antagonistic. Personally, I think a loan deal for a season would be an excellent offer to make if he is available (as a lot of the papers seem to be making out). He probably would go to a bigger side than us though.

Sorry, the only reason this came about is that there are rumours that Adam and Downing are being moved on for Liverpool to brimg in Sturridge, and I was trying to think as to whether a new start would be of interest to him down here. If Liverpool were to get rid of him there is no way he would keep his current wages.
