  1. Just for a change 🙄 I can't wait for the day we don't have to have him in goal for us anymore.
  2. This ref is a bit shit isn't he.
  3. No doubt a few posters on here will find a way to blame Ralph for it.
  4. VAR gave him the opportunity to review the decision. If you don't think the pressure from the City players persuaded him to change his mind then that's up to you, but I strongly disagree.
  5. So you don't think the whingeing to the ref from the Man City players played any part in him overturning the penalty he gave us up there a few weeks ago then?
  6. Perhaps some do go off grid once they've made their application and been sent to accommodation somewhere, although it's unlikely to help their case. But that's not the same as disappearing as soon as they land is it.
  7. Perhaps because that's the official Home Office estimate, and if they are applying for asylum then they are obviously not disappearing into the night.
  8. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/nov/17/most-people-who-risk-channel-boat-crossings-are-refugees-report There's this really useful thing called Google. Maybe you could try it yourself.
  9. RIP Sir Frank. A legend of his sport and a true gentleman by all accounts. https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/12481456/sir-frank-williams-legendary-formula-1-team-founder-and-former-boss-dies-aged-79
  10. Good. For too long now doctors have been lazily prescribing antidepressants as a one size fits all remedy, with too little thought of the consequences of creating a dependency on them. Literally everyone I know who has ever gone on 'a short course' of ADs is still on them to this day. My wife included. The first time she tried to come off them (Citalopram) she suffered a severe psychotic episode from the withdrawal. She had weaned herself down to a much smaller dose now, but she's still dependent on it. ADs work for some people, but for many others they have caused more problems than they have solved.
  11. Must be incredibly frustrating for him. We're nearly into December and his season really hasn't got started yet.
  12. What about black men carrying assault rifles? Are there stats for that?
  13. Isn't it obvious? So we could build a posh mooring point for potential investors to park their super yachts of course.
  14. A black man walking towards them with an assault rifle slung over his chest, while onlookers shout to them that he had just shot and killed someone? They wouldn't stop and think what kind of image they were projecting. They would shoot first and ask questions later.
  15. Pretty obvious he wouldn't have walked out of this situation alive
  16. It's not just you 😉
  17. I had mine last week and it was Moderna.
  18. It's kicking off all over Europe. Civil unrest in numerous countries as new restrictions are introduced.
  19. A PL debut as a stoppage time sub for my nephew at the Etihad! He didn't even get a touch of the ball, but still. What a moment for him!
  20. City whingeing that they should have had a penalty but it's rightly overturned by VAR. No contact on Sterling whatsoever.
  21. Oh I know he will. There's a difference between not wanting to see him again and not expecting him to.
  22. Didn't Ralph describe him as being the most technically gifted player at the club last season? That being the case, how in Earth does Walcott get on the pitch ahead of him? He was the best player on the pitch in the cup game at Sheff Utd. He's not been given a sniff since then. Baffling.
