By what measurable standards has he been the "best president ever"?

https://www.businessinsider.com/joe-biden-victory-spells-trouble-uk-us-relations-boris-johnson-2020-11?r=US&IR=T If Biden's election means Johnson gets shown up on the international stage as the hopeless chancer he is then, in the long term, that can only be a good thing IMO. The era of these fucking idiot populists scratching each other's backs needs to be consigned to history.

A good trade deal for who? It would take an even thicker cunt to think that a trade deal with a shark like Trump would actually work in the UK's favour.
-
Well no, nothing like that. Because Gina Miller was just trying to ensure that the government followed the rule of law and not make it up as they went along. If you really can't see the difference between that and an obviously vexatious attempt to discredit the democratic process by a narcissist whose ego will not allow him to accept that not everyone in the US loves him as much as he thought they did, then you need to take your blinkers off.

Melania is probably already on the blower to her divorce lawyer.

Well here is the problem with not raising the offside flag immediately. It was obviously going to get pulled back, so why let it carry on and allow a situation to develop where someone could get injured?
-
Pickford gets away with yet another awful challenge. Then Digne gets taken out from a follow through from Maquire. No sympathy from me after his hatchet job on KWP the other week.

Yep. Can't stop watching the replays of it. Superb technique to hit that first time, as it came at him very fast from a short distance away so he had no time to think about what to do. He had a similar effort away at Sheff Utd last season that smashed against the post. If that had gone in and he had broken his duck then the rest of his season might have turned out very differently.

That or the old "this has got 0-0 written all over it" routine.
-
Slowly? He's been magnificent for the last few games. If this is him 'getting there slowly' then I shudder to think what an immense player he will be when he gets 'there'.
-
From the BBC match report... Linked by who? Some pundit somewhere has saw we've gone top of the league and thought "he could be a good fit for Utd". And that's it - he's being 'linked'.
-
He's always magnanimous in defeat. I remember him saying some very complimentary stuff about us a few years ago when he was manager at Hull.
-
Really enjoying this interview with Theo. He clearly loves being back with us, and he was very noble to say he didn't think it should have been a penalty. He had a really good game tonight and was unlucky not to score. Had a hand in both goals and caused them problems all night. I'm gonna print that league table off and stick it on my bedroom wall so I can fall asleep looking at it and see it as soon as I wake up.

Well on the stream I'm watching, they've left it until 2nd half injury time to mention the 0-9. That's a novelty.
-
A travesty that Macca was left out of the England squad today. On current form, how Pickford gets in ahead of him is utterly baffling.
-
Ahem.

That's all three subs for Newcastle now. Romeu - please take one for the team with a second yellow, and break Caroll's legs.
-
Even if you accept that he played the ball before taking Walcott out, he handled it when he went to ground. It's a fucking penalty!
-
That's got to be a penalty, surely?
-
We're so much better than Newcastle, it will be a travesty if we don't win this. Cheeky insurance bet time I think.
-
Does that make it 100,000% a penalty then?
-
So close from Romeu!
-
Exactly, it's not like he's getting roasted down that side by their winger. If he was then I would be worried, but he's doing a solid enough job in an unfamiliar position.
-
That is never, ever a foul.

Djenepo was in acres of space there if Armstrong could have found him. Good chance fro Walcott, just wide.
