I guess it depends on the festival. Leeds/Reading has a terrible reputation for knobheads ruining it. A friend of mine got inadvertently caught up in a massive riot there a few years ago. But I've been to loads of other festivals where you would never see anything like the twattery you get there. If you think what happened last weekend was bad though, watch the Netflix dcoumentary about Woodstock 99. What happened there was insane. Total carnage on a scale you could only imagine.
