Exactly my experience only without the encouraging dad, so it never even crossed my mind that I could go to uni. The careers advice at my school was just a joke. There was never any engagement or analysis to see what my actual skills were or what I enjoyed. It was just "here's a list of places you can go to get advice on possible apprenticeships".

That's a bit disingenuous. 16 goals and 4 assists in 41 appearances us a decent contribution no matter how you view it. Yes he missed a few sitters, as he always has done. But he was a very important cog in our promotion machine and we were a poorer team overall when he wasn't playing. I share many poster's doubts about his ability to make such a contribution in the PL, but to suggest he didn't do well last season is wider of the mark than one of his worst misses.

Lock him up! or something.

I found the writing really poor in S4, and found that I had no interest in finding out what was going to happen with the main narrative. They clearly had no idea what to do with half the characters, and it seemed to become even more specifically about Burnham than the previous seasons were. I also found that the whole "let's have an emotional crisis instead of just acting professionally and doing our jobs" thing got very tiresome. Edit: I probably would have sacked it off sooner, but I guess I just wasn't ready to accept there could be a ST series I didn't like. But eventually I resigned myself to it.

As someone who gave up on it part way through S4, did it get any better in S5? Should I give it another go?

OK, I'm going to try one more time to get through to you, though I don't hold out much hope of success. There is a very high degree of confidence among the climate science community that approximately 100% of current observed warming is attributed to human activity. This tool was developed by researchers at Oxford University This is not 'religion', it is actual science.
-
But you are a sceptic Whitey, because no matter how many times you have the facts about the unprecedented rate of warming in the post-industrial era explained to you, no matter how much scientific literature you are presented with showing that warming is only accounted for when CO2 emissions are factored into the models, you still always dismiss or ignore it and fall back on the old "climate changes naturally anyway" claim that is straight from the denialists' playbook. Perhaps it's time you changed your avatar.

Very likely, yes.

Happy to oblige Source: Warm May and spring for the UK - Met Office It really is very simple, except to those who refuse to see.

Reducing crime with the power of classical music. Might work.

Mordaunt may be well spoken, but she can't complete a single sentence without shoe-horning in some scaremongering bollocks about what Labour *might* do if they win. That's a whole lot more grating than listening to someone with a northern, working class accent.

99% sure that is the same person. Same nose, lips and cheeks, and look at the ridge on her forehead where it meets her eyebrow.

All you lot discussing the relative rights and wrongs of Farage appearing on QT yet again are seemingly blissfully unaware that you are feeding into the very reason why he has been on it so many times. That reason being that he is a highly controversial, divisive personality whose very appearance is intended to provoke public debate (like this one) and boost viewing figures. It's why I don't bother watching anymore. It's just pointless pantomime designed to generate headlines.
-
So you chose not to testify, Donald, and now you're claiming your civil rights have been violated. OK hun x In all seriousness, I know he doesn't actually believe this and it's just theatre, designed to incense his brain dead supporters, but the man is just utterly unhinged. Everything he says and does demonstrates just how unfit he is for the presidency.

On that logic, we would also need to offload KWP, Bednarek and AA then. Did ABK kick up a fuss to leave? Or was it more a case of us needing to get his wages off the books after relegation? I honestly don't know but I'm not going to write him off. He clearly has quality and it should be remembered he is still very young and nowhere near the finished article for a CB. The only serious question mark for me is over his recurring shoulder injury and whether that is likely to hamper him for his whole career.

He actually does though. He claimed the government can control the weather and deliberately made it hot and sunny during Covid lockdown FFS. So where is the irony?
