  1. Yep. I was dubious about wanting us to go up only to get embarrassed again like last season. But it's the only way we're going to see the likes of Leo, Peretz and Charles still playing for us next season, and I have total faith that this team with Tonda at the helm would be light years better than our last PL team.
  2. It's moments like this that make all the pain and misery that comes with being a Saints fan worth every second.
  3. I'm gonna guess 6 minutes 👍
  4. And I can't even get into my Bet365 account to place an insurance bet cos I'm out of the country and the VPN isn't fooling their server 😭
  5. Very gracious of you 😉
  6. Swap his shirt for a yellow one.
  7. He's never going to score is he 😔
  8. Yep. So rather than playing just one square peg in a round hole at RB, we did it all over the pitch instead.
  9. I'm in Greece getting it on iPlayer via a VPN.
  10. Jeez. How far behind is my stream!?
  11. He should have this printed on the back of his shirt.
  12. Took an extra touch and lost his balance. Should have scored though.
  13. That's not a foul. Ref caved to the howls of the arsenal fans.
  14. Just please fucking stop doing that Leo.
  15. BBC maintaining their usual high standards I see 🙄
  16. Pretty sure that would be classed as force majeure.
  17. Totally agree. For as long as I can remember, we've always been shite in the first game after an international break. So in a way it's good that the fixtures were re-arranged for this. It gives us a chance to get our customary crap post-international performance and result out of our system in a game that doesn't really matter*, rather than using up one of our few remaining league games for it. And if by some miracle we do manage to win it then that's just an unexpected bonus. * Yes I'm aware it does really matter to some. What I mean is it's a free hit that won't hurt our playoff chances if we lose.
  18. Relative to what, Einstein?
  19. It really doesn't. The road I live on was changed to 20 a couple of years ago, after a bad accident when someone drove into a neighbor's garden wall, and after a very short period of adjustment it just feels totally normal now.
  20. Staying in Athens and ticking off a bucket list item - visiting the Acropolis / Parthenon and standing in awe of these incredible structures that have stood for thousands of years.
  21. On a similar note... "We're sorry. We are experiencing a higher than normal volume of calls at the moment and there may be some delay in connecting you to an agent". Literally every time I call one of these places. Why can't they just be honest and say "Actually this is totally normal - we simply don't want to hire the required number of agents to be able to answer your call within a reasonable amount of time, so tough shit you'll just have to sit and listen to our interminable hold music on continuous repeat while you wait".
  22. He's getting more and more like this guy every day...
  23. We owe them one for the 2003 final (was that really 23 years ago!? 😳) So a somewhat flukey 1-0 win, with a goal coming about from a lucky rebound followed by them having a goal disallowed for a marginal offside then being denied a late equaliser by a "how the fuck did he keep that out!" point blank save from Peretz, would do just nicely. We can dream, can't we?
  24. It's dead Jim! https://variety.com/2026/tv/news/star-trek-starfleet-academy-canceled-season-2-1236696816/
