These games have been an absolute triumph. After all the media fuelled worry, we smashed it. Completely smashed it. I don't often get into the British Pride stuff, but the last two weeks have genuinely made me proud of our little nation.

I think(in athletics) the top 5 in every event get tested plus 2 random others. And that the samples are kept for 8 years and looked at again and again if any advancements are made. I think that's why people often get caught many years afterwards as the authorities catch up with the cheats.

I really hope he gets a medal. He deserves it. I think the Gold and Silver might be out of his reach, but I think he is definitely capable of a bronze to be the best non-Chinese diver. Fingers crossed!

You don't even live in this country. And your argument seems to be because you assumed I'd like the BBC, my opinion is wrong. Name some individual programmes in the last year which have been biased. People just need to remember that the BBC is for everyone and so a lot of different programmes will be on. There's plenty of stuff on the BBC I don't like and wouldn't watch, but I know that other people would love. Not everything has to be about me and cater to what I like. That's just selfish. I love the BBC because of the high quality and varied programming it produces.

I bet the BBC thing is grossly over exaggerated. The Mail has been desperately looking for some reason to bash the BBC all games, but their coverage has been just too excellent and they know it. Love the BBC.
