This. Losing 4 at home is now pretty standard and actually not a bad score for us. This is the norm.

Why? Next season won't be much better. The little quality that we have will go, we'll be lucky to stay mid table next season. Our place at the top table is well and truly gone and we won't be back for many, many years.

Can't see anything other than yet another loss, doubt they'll have to get out of second gear, bit like last week really. What an utterly horrendously depressing campaign this season has been, anybody know when the coup de grace will be officially delivered?

Much better scoreline than I expected against them, 1 - 3 is almost respectable for us. Yep, that's how far we've fallen, lose at home against the mighty Bournemouth and it's not at all a surprise. We could be the team that convinces the Premiere League to bring in 'vetting' because our players really shouldn't have been allowed to play in this league, they are nowhere near the required standard.

To be fair 2 nil down at HT is actually a much better position than I originally thought it would be..!

Can't see that we've got an earthly against this lot, especially if they score first, expecting nothing but self destruct and home made carnage. Again.

Only watched the second half. I've seen some absolute garbage over the years, but that was as bad as anything I've seen, we are woeful. We offered nothing, not a threat at all, swaned about as normal with no attacking intent. Our fitness looks bad and we certainly don't have a 'kitchen sink', because we offered nothing, nada, zilch. Anybody who thinks we are going to compete in the championship next season with this lot, no chance. Not enough talent, not enough effort, not enough heart, totally and utterly shyte.

I'm surprised that we've been allowed to stay in this league, we are a complete and utter embarrassment to the Premiere League brand.

I hate to say it, but I really don't think we are going to get there. I think our best bet scenario may come down to teams being safe and 'on the beach' come the end of season, maybe West Ham, Fulham, Leicester and Everton games MAY give us a chance. Competitively I don't think we've got a cat in hells chance, but those game may just give us a lifeline, how fucking sad is it that our goal is to try and get 12 points in a season..!

Hopefully Burnley, in the league, very probably not this season.

Our annus horribilis continues unabated. No chance of points from the next two games, and then Ipswitch - we're really going to struggle to beat Derbys record unless we get some points soon. This horrible shitty nightmare can't end soon enough for me.

Decent first half, was a little worried when we missed early chances in the first ten, but overall pretty good. Need to come out fast at the restart and not let them back in, would really like to see a really comfortable scoreline at the end.

You can blame the players all you like, the simple fact of the matter is that 95% of this squad is not good enough for the Premiere League. But, you do have to ask, who on earth at the club thought that we would be? Who put this bunch of awful footballers together and thought that they could compete? Loads of posters on here could clearly see that at very least we need a goalscorer, yet we try and cuff it with absolute garbage from the bargain basement. Well, the owners are about to reap what they sowed, and Southampton football club is about to register some of the worst stats in premiere league history.

Probably not, but it is time for some straight talking from the higher echelons of the club. We are already totally embarrassing ourselves in this company and that's down to the people who run the club, the fans deserve a whole lot better than this shyte. Yep - and that mentality runs deep. Anybody thinking that we will just spend another season in the Championship and then come straight back up could well be in for a surprise. 6 points after this amount of games is embarrassingly bad and only proves that we should not be in this league with these players anyway. We are in the Championship for the long haul next year methinks.
