Completely agree. The real bottom line is that probably 15 or 16 teams are just making up the numbers with absolutely no prospect of winning anything. Would've loved to see the top 6 knob off to a euro league, it would've leveled the playing field, but essentially the Prem is a very long way from competitive anymore.

Sadly I agree. We are so bad the only goal I see for us this season is not picking up yet more embarrassing unwanted premiere league 'records'. From what we've shown so far this season we are firmly on the Derby County track, and the longer the season goes on the more we look like dropping through multiple leagues. The players are not good enough and neither is the manager, gaining any self respect this season is going to be very, very difficult.

Alex Crook was on Talksport a couple of days ago saying that the club would probably stick with RM and the reason that we are going down is because of the lack of quality in the squad. He also said that our recruitment had been awful for a good couple of years, hard to argue with him really.

And that was lil' ol' Bournemouth. Absolutely schooled all over the park, goalkeeper apart not one of our players would get into their team, that's how far off premiership quality we are. We looked absolutely lost and on the odd occasion we got over the half way line we went backwards, we didn't even try to go sideways, it's in our DNA to retreat to our own 18 yard line. Saying that, we were crap, we lost 3 - 1 but we were actually better than I thought we would be, how that works I have no idea but there is it's. This is going to be a major embarrassment of a season unless something drastic happens soon, anybody like to hazard a guess of where the next point is coming from, realistically?

We won't manage 3 shots let alone score 3 goals, no chance. So bad are we I would actually be impressed if we lost this one 3 - 0.

Yes, but it's also very clear that these players are not capable of doing what this manager wants, city we ain't.

What manager would want to try and save this ship with our crew, we are woefully short of any quality players.

We didn't need him to stay, what we needed was to get somebody better than him in, but we didn't, we got worse, a lot worse.

That was the point that I predicted from our next three, Ipswich, Bournemouth and Arsenal so it's going to be a shit two weeks. Then we've got Leicester away and City at home... we are so f%$cked.
