  1. Missed the first half (thanks sky). Second half was so passive we looked like the away side. Subs were made too early and didn't make any sense, completely lost the midfield after Fellows and Scienza went off. In fact every sub seemed to make us weaker, we struggled to get over the half way line. Got lucky in the end when Junior slashed it wide from 6 yards.
  2. We are not in the top 4, we are in the bottom half, and that's what we looked like, a bottom half team.
  3. Bump. And back to earth we come. Looked pretty ordinary for most of it, but not being at our strongest was always going to be a problem. Started well, but Millwall played their way back in and looked stronger after the first 20 minutes. We did well to get back to 2 - 2, but some comedy defending in the last minute cost us. A real sickener.
  4. Agreed, couldn't believe how slow and cumbersome he looked getting across the turf. I've seen enough of him to confidently predict another dud. You can all thank me when he now wades in with a hattrick next week now!
  5. That's exactly what I'm saying. We won't get a top striker in the January window. We need to limp to the finish line this season, and then seriously address the striker, goalkeeper, spine next season.
  6. Doesn't make any sense, we can, and have, done an instant fuck up, but we can't do an instant fix.easily. Typical football manager speak.
  7. Agree to a point mate, I'm a pensioners and I would back myself to score before Downs does...! But we need to address the striker problem seriously this time and make that 'Rickie Lambert' signing like we did last time we were in the shit.
  8. Agree with this other than trying to find a striker, which is generally pretty difficult to do in the January window. Forget promotion, ditch Still, bring in someone to stabilise us this season and go again next season. Break the bank and use the budget on the spine of the side, a proven striker, goalkeeper and defensive midfielder. We have enough quality to build around that. This season is done, we need to look to next season to get this club sorted out.
  9. Absolutely fricking woeful.
  10. I've seen some seriously inept players representing this club over 60 years of so, he's probably easily in the top five. Awful player.
  11. We needed to score 2 goals, and our solution to that was to bring on Damion Downs. Let that sink in for a moment and it will tell you what an absolute mess this club is in.
  12. So bad it was actually funny...!
  13. Which is probably where we still finish if we carry on like this.
  14. Nope. We are mid table, at best. The squad may indicate otherwise, but at the end of the day if you don't do it on the pitch squad riches mean f all. I have absolutely no idea what our 'game plan' or tactics are, to me it just appears like go out and play and just throw subs on randomly if we ain't winning (every game this season). Mid table at best, nowhere near promotion standards.
  15. We won because Sheffield United are crap and we are just a very little bit less crap, nothing more.
  16. Take a bow son...
  17. Pain, pain and just more fucking pain. We are woefully shit, we are actually making Sheffield United look good...!
  18. I want to be in the premiereship, but watching us get easily pumped every single game is soul destroying and has killed my love of football.
  19. I would. Unfortunately he'd probably throw a few (much needed) fucks around, which would no doubt offend some of our more 'brittle' souls.
  20. It's the 'running joke' I know. but the sad truth is we wouldn't be any worse if we had Big Sam.
  21. Give us forty quid and Ill take it off your hands....!
  22. Unfortunately, they are. They totally believe all the hype around the club and themselves - but the reality is that may of them are. frankly, utter dross.
  23. So long as we are 'fighting' it I don't mind, but personally I don't think there is any real fight in any of these players - too many believe the hype, but continually fail to deliver. Yet another woeful performance.
