We played pretty decent overall, when we conceded after two minutes I feared the usual no show was on the cards! But we recovered well and put a decent shift in, the game showed how important ings is to us take him away and we have very little goal threat and he assists others too (that said he should have done better with a clearance for their goal as should the four other defenders!) We seem incapable of a clean sheet lately and prone to switching off. Che gets a lot of stick & yes he does miss easier chances (that's why he's at saints) but he always puts in the effort rate & rarely gives up that's what I like about him weird that he does better with difficult chances minamino does have talent and a bit of pace but his decision making is awful & he's basically a feather on the ball.

Was Ralph not the one who specifically made us have a small squad in the first place though?

As it seems a done deal, wonder if the club will be transparent in what we are actually paying in wages for essentially an aging passenger who offers nothing trading on his past teenage form?

Even if ings did stay which looks unlikely he has maybe two decent seasons in him left tops & we have no one to step up to the table (tella one for the future) any kind of injury to ings exposes just how bad our strike force is we simply have to address it ready for next season, we won't get lucky again. Question is who can we get who's likely to get near ings within our budget?
