If you re-read my message I wasn't insinuating he was Brazilian at all, only that he was mentioned as a potential replacement for the Brazil national job but HIS nationality was always seen as a blocker i.e. he was so good with River Plate (and conversely Brazil so underwhelming) that they were possibly going to overlook his nationality.

Gallardo yes, and mostly because he has been named a few times around the Brazil national team setup, but because of his nationality and the fact that Tite was given another chance he wasn't/hasn't given the job... yet! That would be some come down though. Torino manager = no. But he seems the right kind of nut job so I am on board with that. The rest can get in the bin, Marsch, Lampard et al. Rooney less so but he wouldn't be my first choice.

To each his own. His "onboarding interview" was the usual banal media taught snooze fest for me. But when let loose on his own - oh boy! What inspiration!

He's incredibly unlikeable and, as is his lack of experience is showing on the field, it's also showing with and in the media with some absolutely ludicrous and isolating comments.
