It's hard enough to find a decent goalscorer at the best of times. In January, when literally no-one is going to sell anyone decent, it's basically impossible. That's why you end up with overpriced, panic buy crap like Carillo and Onuachu, or complete non-entities like Orsic or Gronbaek. And that was the level of shit we could attract when we were in the Premier League, not 15th in the Championship and 6 points off the relegation zone to League One. At centre forward, Spors had the chance to make us competitive in the summer. He chose to spend £7m on Damion fucking Downs. So now we're going to be seeing out the season relying on Stewart staying fit*, other teams letting Armstrong have the only type of service he's effective from *, or Archer looking like a footballer*. Spors has utterly fucked it, and now the chickens are coming home to roost. (* Spoiler: they won't)

Might as well just make him manager after Tonda gets the boot after our inevitable humping by the skates. We have a clueless management team, no coaching pedigree of any kind to speak of, no leaders or fight, players who don’t care or have given up, an utterly defeated fan base and an ownership who are fundamentally unable to make a single good common sense decision that doesn’t just make us worse. We are in absolute freefall. Relegation’s not just a possibility, without major change at this stage I’d actually be more surprised if we managed to find a way to stay up. That’s what SR have reduced us to.

His other club is Hearts, who are now top of the Scottish league and could well win it. It’s not coincidence at all, it’s a proper, market-leading tool that actually works and that he has applied properly, putting an appropriate structure, team and support system around it. The problem comes when dickheads like Rasmus, Solak and Spors see that and think ‘oh yeah, easy, we can do that too’, without the ability or specialist tools required to do it, or the humility to understand that they they can’t just make it up and expect to succeed in the same way. Not only are they incompetent, but they are also incredibly arrogant, and that’s we’re so utterly fucked until they go.
