"Sky Sports News understands Simon Rusk will take the team until the end of the season. Rusk took charge briefly when Russell Martin, Juric's predeessor, left St Mary's. Adam Lallana will also be involved in the new set-up." Yay!!!

He was talking about this

Our fans who were there yesterday sang and supported the team the entire time. At the end, at the point our owners, management team and players set the new record for fastest relegation from the Premier League, they were given a standing ovation and clapped off the pitch. Juric said he was amazed by it. One match report described it like this: When the final whistle went, Ivan Juric advanced on to the pitch and stared across at the corner where the away fans were gathered. Southampton had just suffered the earliest relegation in Premier League history, with seven games still remaining, but there was no bitterness. Juric, who seemed almost moved by their reaction, ensured his players applauded them. “For me, this is something completely new, a new experience,” Juric said. “I said to the players they have to be really thankful that they have fans like this. It is something incredible the way they love their team even though we were relegated. They really deserve much more. It’s another type of culture [to Italy]. They show love in this moment; it is a great thing in English culture, Southampton culture.” When Leeds got relegated their players were afraid to go to their fans in the stadium because they were getting so much shit. Everton fans barracked their players in the street when they felt they weren't giving it everything, and they didn't even go down. Where do you stand on it? Should we be proud to have such loyal support, who get behind the team and the club no matter what, or have the players, management and ownership got off way too easily for what they've delivered this year?

Remember when we used to produce our own?

Have you seen the circumstances he's working under at Wednesday? He's basically performing miracles.
-
Reject all offers for him, tell him he needs to give us one season in the Championship and then if we don't get promoted he can go. Then make him captain and build next season's team around him. Then listen to offers for literally any of the rest of them.
-
Nah, line the next one up in the background but keep Juric in place as the fall guy, let him stay and take the bullet for the next seven defeats, the inevitable record lowest points total and the highest ever goal difference against, and then the moment the final whistle blows against Arsenal, sack him, sweep the whole lot clean and bring in the new man unsullied by the absolute fiasco of this season.

We did it! First PL team ever to be relegated with seven games to go! Go Sport Republic!

An entirely fitting conclusion to our time in the Premier League. Just perfect. 👌

It's like watching a puff of pink mist

Yaaayyy Ross Stewart I reckon he could save our season

In this case, right was wrong, and write was right

Has Dibling taken his man on even once? Every single time he gets the ball he just puts his foot on it, turns inside and lays it back £100m right there
-
Do you think they should be purring over our committed, gutsy, all-action performance? We've been shit

Keep it tight early on lads

I hope you’re right. BBC is showing the line-up as 3 atb with Aribo as one of them. But let’s see.
-
Bella-Kotchap and Stephens on the bench, with Aribo starting at centre back 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍 Onuachu our best player against Palace, actually scores a goal, fit enough to be on the bench but no, let’s start Archer What can you say, incredible.

No it's a pub

You would think that the fact he has the physical presence of a Subbuteo man would dissuade managers from thinking he'd be good up top on his own. But apparently not.
-
The other part of that report says that the Man City group are looking at Rusty for a role at one of their clubs because he plays the way they like it. Maybe his long game will pay off after all...
-
I'm past caring about the result, but I do hope we find a way to spawn ourselves into the lead, just to sit back and watch the absolute eye-popping meltdown as their fans turn on the manager. Got to get some entertainment somehow.
