I wonder how the % of immigrants claiming benefits measures against the number of immigrants paying tax/NI balances out. The immigrants were brought in to save us or at least delay us from a massive pensions crisis as the baby boomers retired and there was a massive inverted pyramid between those that are working and those that are claiming pensions. Don't read about that in the daily mail do you dune?

There was one tiny section in an Italian newspaper (I think MLG) saying it was nearly a done deal. That was it! After that, we just chat about if that is too much of a gamble, too much for one player, MLG comes along and corrects someone, there are a few lols, the threads drops off for a couple of days and then another newspaper article appears and we get all excited again. This isn't a new thing. When I was younger/student and working shit jobs, I was on a 0 hours contract. It was bad, split shifts, no sick pay etc but it was a **** job, so I put up with it long enough until I got a better offer. I guess everyone will do the same.

Exactly. It is a job opportunity, an offer. You can moan about the offer, just take it or don't take it. Either it is a reasonable offer and the company will find people or as VFTT says, the company might come unstuck and change the offer back.

I never usually like to disagree with egg but I think Hooper is a decent signing for them. For a team that looks to be well organised, defend well and nick the odd goal, he is ideal.
