Not defending her side of the story in any way, but....... she doesn't say that no one could have seen it. I understand your confusion as it is badly worded, but what she is saying is that she doubts it would have been seen by any CCTV cameras. It certainly does seem unlikely that she was hit, as others have stated, due to the lack of anyone else corroborating her story. It would be amazing if one person hit another, with so many others around, and it not to be witnessed by anyone.

It must be real, I've seen it on TV - and it was even in colour!!!! Very first episode of Blakadder: Richard III won the battle of Bosworth but was then accidentally killed (case of mistaken identity) by Edmund Blackadder, Duke of Edinburgh, the youngest son of Richard IV. But, I'm sure you already knew this.
-
A quick question - did the forensic investigation shed any light on the theory that Richard III was, in fact, killed by one Edmund Blackadder?
-
It was indeed an interesting find, and has prompted me to delve a bit more into the history of that time. (I like history.) However, one thing for sure is that history is (and always has been) written by the victors. For example, I doubt Richard III was exactly how WS portrayed him.

I originate from Eastleigh, and there have always been a fair few Poles there. My dad worked with many on the railway. Never had a problem with any of them. Obviously, I now live in a country which borders Poland (and shares most of its history). From all I've seen and heard Poles and Belorusians have very similar traditions (probably because of the historical links). I fully appreciate DPs mentions of family ties and multiple occupancy - it is exactly like that here (fortunately, not in my household). One thing I am certain of from my trips back home though, there are far more attractive females living in Southampton nowadays; the vast majority of which all seem to speak English with foreign accents.

Which ever way you look at it, we have conceded 4 avoidable goals in our last 2 matches. In both of those matches we were failed to hold onto a lead, thus losing points. Our defence has gone backwards under MP. Therefore, I believe I am justified in blaming him for us dropping points.

Errmm, i terms of the future of Southampton Football Club Cortese is important and MLT isn't. Why should the chairman of a football club, in a precarious position, cancel appointments to fit a meeting with an ex-player in? Especially when it is said ex-player who has asked for a meeting after continually slagging the chairman off (and thus tarnishing the image of the club) in the media? I loved MLT as a player as much as anyone else on here. I was there on his debut and for his final match in a Saints shirt; I stood cheering his name or years; he was, without a doubt, the best player I have ever watched play for Saints. However, that does not mean he can be without blame when acting like a child, as he has been. I am sure his nose is a bit out of joint (excuse the pun) because of his own (ludicrous) involvement with the Pinnacle debacle and subsequent successful takeover of Marcus and NC. But I think this is more down to a bathroom carpet in Benali's house, FFS!! Yes, of course Cortese should drop everything just because MLT wants him to...................

Wow, you learn something knew every day.......... 0-0, 1-2 and 2-2 obviously equals a win your eyes, no?
-
I've asked this of someone else in the post-thread, who made a similar statement: who's job is it to coach the players to defend set pieces? And, who's job is it to set the team up to defend set pieces?
-
Errmmm, who's job is it to set the team up to defend corners? And to coach them in doing so?
-
As I predicted on the build-up thread, our failure to sign a dominant CB ABLE TO PLAY IN THIS MATCH has cost us dearly. I am still not in the 'we will definitely go down camp' but neither am I in in the 'we will definitely stay up' camp. It is very much in the balance. And all because we didn't get that CB or a replacement for Puncheon. (J-Rod will prob be Punch's replacement in the team, but that retracts from his other uses.)
-
What, by outplaying teams and failing to win? Don't think that will help us stay up personally.
-
2nd game in a row Puncheon hasn't looked interested. Why the feck didn't we buy another RM in the window?
-
I believe it finished about 4 weeks before we signed him. Not THAT long a lay off.
-
He ran around a lot, but really wasn't that good a player.
-
Why the dig? MLT really is starting to get up my nose now. Luckily my nose isn't anywhere near as big as his.
-
Mathematically, no; psychologically, yes. IMO.
-
A big IF though, IMHO. I obviously hope we do, but wouldn't put money on it.
-
Aren't they all? To be honest, I think 'Arry and QPR are being extremely lucky of late.
-
Would have preferred a Norwich win, but reasonably happy with 0-0. And, to be honest, neither 'keeper deserved to concede. They both had excellent games.
-
I understand that and fully agree. My problem is: why buy only one toy for Christmas, which can't be used until Easter, when it is essential to have a toy which can be played with on the first weekend in February? It makes me nervous to see Jos in the starting 11, and even more so knowing we have absolutely no other option. Not even a CB for the bench. FFS.
-
Thanks for the info. Which muscle? When did he strain it? Any idea how long until he will be able to play? In any event, just shows that we prob should have got 2 CBs in.
-
So a whole week of a training camp, plus another few days, isn't enough to get Forren match fit. FFS. I wonder if he will even make the bench today? The one position we really needed strengthening and we buy a player who is unfit to play in one of our most important matches of the season. Great!! In fact, I will go so far as to say this IS our most important match this season. Win and we are 6 points clear; lose and we are level on points. Psychologically, either one is going to have a huge effect - especially without NA around to pick them up. Win and I think we will stay up; lose and we are probably going down; draw and it is still in the balance. Just my opinion, of course. Edit: Just seen, Forren not even on bench again. In fact, no CB on the bench. Let's hope Maya or Jos don't pick up a knock!!!!

This match is starting to get a bit lively..... at last!!
-
And Bunn doing the same for Norwich. Great penalty save!!!!
