We qualified for the premier league through league placing, we had players with premier league experience, we beat premier league teams in cups, yet still you claimed we needed loads of games to adapt to the league.

I want the opportunity to see saints in Europe. Too young for hamburg and couldn't do Bucharest. I've seen us win at wembley now so only that left.
-
How can this be? When we got promoted to the premier league you were absolutely indignant That the poor results in our first ten games were because we were 'adapting to the premier league' therefore we weren't ready for it when we got promoted. By your own logic we will also need time then to 'adapt to Europe' will we not? So we ain't ready.

He started pretty much every interview this with the words 'no disrespect to southampton but....' Plus he screamed down the phone at Les Reed for an hour that he was leaving, he had to leave and if southampton didn't allow him he'd never play for us again. Then his full page advert was a huge picture of himself with a couple of token lines at the bottom.

Given the sinking of the titanic was such a disaster its no surprise that Liverpool has tried to claim ownership of it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-17667272

Liverpool. I'm surrounded by armchair scousers at work most of them Utterly clueless about Soccerball.

Deliberate handball which denies a goalscoring opportunity is. That was clearly this, absolutely ridiculous decision to overturn it.

The eye witness was a known drug dealer who owed a lot of money to some nasty people and had a lot of enemies. I'm pretty sure Noye was investigated but found not to be involved and it was put down as the work of a professional hitman, he may well have been involved but they couldn't make it stick, but by all accounts he wasn't the most popular chap in his area. There was a very good documentary on him on sky crime a few years back. A very nasty piece of work and very clever with it. Had a legitimate haulage business as a cover for his criminal activity and as you say was very lucky to be aquitted of murdering an undercover copper, self defence was his defence, which was funnily enough his defence when e was convicted for this murder.

I'm writing a strongly worded email to ASDA DEMANDING they tell me that if they pay the living wage or not. Its OUTRAGEOUS the they are posting £700m profits whilst the people who unload the lorries for them earn the minimum wage. I'm am LIVID.

Garth's done well getting them back on board after Cortese screwed up. -
Seriously mate, you're what, 20? Why are you spending your spare time constantly email football clubs questioning their moral stance? Stick a back pack on a go travelling go see so e of the world, take up a martial art or a sport, smash your way through a few dozen young ladies, get out there, enjoy your youth, you've got plenty of time to send emails demanding companies that don't care about you reply to you when you're in your fifties.

CONTRACT NEWS: JBevis Mugabi signs new two-and-a-half-year deal with Saints
Turkish replied to angelman's topic in The Saints
He is imperious at the back. 'Mugabi shoots down whites' would make a great headline when he scores the winner in the cup against Leeds. -
Do both. Expand and make the chapel a Kop. The new TV deal means prices should go down, rather than spend the additional money in players its time to expand. the chapel is perfect for a KOp end.

And with the English Harrison Reed we finally seem to have found someone to replace Chaplows bite in midfield.

Maybe it escaped your notice but there was no space in behind them. They sat very deep with two solid banks and we couldn't get behind them or through them. I was surprised Mane was taken off as he's the only player we have who can run directly at teams with pace. We either needed to stretch the game with width and by moving the ball quickly or the old fashioned get it into the mixer. We did neither and the final ball was poor and often too slow.

What i find strange is that the prices are higher for the big games, yet these are always sold out, usually quickly. The cheaper games against the lesser clubs are quite often not sold out. So price isn't the problem, as it's pretty evident people can afford to fill the stadium and more when it suits them.
