Although I'm not sure what sort of a target/finishing position this is now. Is it a realistic one? Is it a 'reach for the stars' aim for 6th and we'll finish 10th, type one? On thing is for sure, the divs that were certain wed finish 10th a few weeks back won't admit they were overstating our ability, nor will come out and say that we've had a crap season if we finish, say 15th. If we're targeting 10th then finishing 1/4 of the league below our target position its an abject failure is it not? Or aren't we targeting 10th now as having lost a couple of games its not very realistic so we're settling for lower, or we never thought we'd finish 10th anyway, it was just a 'reach for the moon' target. It's all very confusing this forum target setting.

The arrogance that was sweeping this forum a few weeks ago seems to have disappeared with lots of straw clinging replacing it, hoping other teams can do us favours. Those that said we wouldn't finish tenth were lamblasted and abused for daring to suggest we wouldn't romp to a top half finish, with 50 odd points and destroying anyone that got in our way. All those claiming that a win for the teams below us was we better for us than wins for the teams above us are looking pretty daft now as the relegation battle has tightened up. We won't go down, but amusing to see the arrogance of a few weeks ago has all but disappeared.

I'd had bought a ticket and prebooked the train but in the run up to the game I had been suffering from the flu. Unfortuantely I had to make the decision that morning that I couldn't go to the game due to sickness. Much to my amazement, despite me being ill and losing around £60 due to being unable to travel there was no minutes applause for me on 8 minutes (my old shirt number) no picture of me on their scoreboards encouraging fans to support my battle against the virus and no words of support from anyone connected at THFC. They have always been arrogant and disrespectful, so no surprise Bale should start to behave is such a way now.
