Because that us exactly the same! I know you Coventry folk are a bit backward Colin, but come on, that's embarassing even for you!

Not even in an industry where entertainment is the order of the day?

They are okay.

A strong indicatior is how our local businesses respond to him. How are our corporate sales this season?

As someone with incredible style and charisma attracting women has never been a problem, I'm an alpha male. In terms of countries I probably combine all of the best of the above, Italian style, English humor, German confidence. It's difficult to wish you were something else when you already are what you wish you could be.

Apparently one in three marriages end in divorce. Tonight when in the company of 2 other couples that were friends of ours me and mrs Turkish and friends went through the couple we had known that had split up and divorced. Out of the 14 couple we all knew, of those that had split and knew the reasons why they split up, 10 of them were because the woman had cheated. I was surprised how high this was, this was married couples not just boyfriends and girlfriends, many of which had kids, is this normal, or our our group of peers a highly distorted statistic? 10 out of 14 couple spliting because the women had cheated FFS!!

The chairman of a football club in a city the size of southampton is an important figure. The sale of corporate seats and boxes are a strong indication as to how popular, good and respected he is.

You've heard both sides of the story above, what's you're take on the Pardew sacking? Who is lying? The former manager, the press, the ill Informed opinioners, or the chairman that said all was fine?

The CoC are very quiet about the BBC and Northern Echo articles.

Win tomorrow we'reoutof the drop zone, 8 clear of QPR and 2 above Reading with them to play at home in 2 weeks time, really daylight between us and them if we beat them as well, which we should do.
-
Why not? Except for Liverpool away why will we not win all the home games? None of those four are anything to fear.
-
Doesn't matter, we should never win those gams anyway, we should write them off.
-
Which is just as well because according to the forums Intelligent posters we should write off any game against teams in the top half of the table.
-
They should have FFS.
-
Really we should be looking at 10 points from our next 5 games. Home to Newcastle, Norwich, Reading and Sunderland with Liverpool away in between them. The 4 home games are ones we should be winning.
-
Yep, IMO we should win them both and anything less than 4 points from the next two games will be poor.
-
James Beattie has just put a penalty past Tommy Forecast in the Accrington v Gills game.
-
You beat me to it. They should have just taken the hiding they were guaranteed to get and wrote it off. A change of manager never improves things.
-
You are funny Les. Got me on ignore but can't help but post about me all the time. Even telling others what they should do. Personally I'm looking forward to Pardews post match interview more than the game after youd told us this morning the sole purpose of his interview today was to set up his one tomorow praising himself for getting is where we are!!

Its not a question of what id do differently, its what we can gather from this is that those comment makers that were described as Ill informed by our chairman, we're clearly anything but and its evident that this story wasnt media bullsh*t that was made up. They were in fact spot on and the chairman was lying. It may have been for a good reason, but he was lying. So using this example as 'evidence' and 'proof' then maybe people shouldn't be so quick to dismiss other articles and opinions as liars with agendas and every word our chairman says as great news and gospel, as he now has a bit of form for not telling the whole truth doesn't he.

We had a chat to a few of theirs outside the Northam, good lads. Dont mind Coventry, a lot of similarities between us and them. Also remember their cup final in 1987 was the first one I really remember clearly, hot may afternoon and a cracking header from Keith Hounchen For one of their goals.

I'm not aware of any. So that entirely proves my point about Adkins constant praise of the chairman and trying to convince anyone who would listen that they have a great relationship, he wouldn't say anything else. As you rightly say, if he did, it wouldnt end well, again I thank you for proving my point.
-
I made this very point About Adkins comments post West Ham about him having a great realtionship with the chairman contray to reports. I was told I was wrong and Adkins wouldn't lie. Thanks for proving my point.
-
That's what I thought, of we didn't know better you might think he'd been told to say it.
-
Yet when Akdins has said in the past he has a great relationship with the chairman this has been lauded as quashing all the rumours they don't get on, yet in this case above it was simply people showing a united front as saying anything else would send out the wrong signals. How odd.
