He’s an excellent player will be playing on the premier league next season for someone you’d think
-
For Downes who has been the best player on the pitch has a feel of a friendly now anyway
-
We look so much better with Armstrong right instead of brooks
-
If it stays like this we’re unbeaten again all the play off teams. 4 wins 2 draws. Cause for optimism?
-
Was just thinking that. When it goes well we are great to watch
-
Are our fans actually singing “1-0 to the tractor boys”? 🤦🤦🤦🤦
-
It was but super Jack also caught in possession
-
What do you expect he’s been shite and then posts some bollocks about being able to unpick picks 100 times
-
any of you lot joined the 1885 group?
-
just for the name. That's a proper 70s footballer name, i expect him to have shoulder length hair, a moustache and look about 40 even though he's 22.

So what? It was pretty funny how you arrogantly dismissed him as not knowing the difference between climate change and weather yet when asked a direct question about climate change you responded with an article about weather. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
Imagine the uproar there would be if we played a B team and get smashed by Leeds and Ipswich lose to Huddersfield sending Leeds up on goal difference 🤭🤭🤭
-
That article says “weather” and you were accusing others of not knowing the difference between weather and global warming 🤦

Hes done what good managers do, get the most out of what’s available. Our manager seems to do the exact opposite. Despite all his bravado about being brave you’d struggle to think of a single player who has overachieved this season
-
WTF?!! He's got a centre back who won the title last year alongside a polish international with 56 caps and a 150+ premier league apperances, the best right back in the division, probably the best holding midfielder in the division and the second highest goalscorer who also has the most goal contributions in the division. Then he's got really strong squad players who would get into a lot of the teams in the league perhaps some premier leagues ones. The fact that those players have conceded more goals than a lot of teams in the bottom half of the table, which is what has cost us promotion, says more about his ability to stop his teams conceding than the players he's got. Of all the defences you can hridave of Martin not having the tools to succeed is ridiculous.
-
Heroic failure as usual wasn’t it
-
We’ve got a good chance under Martin
-
Despite always having it in us that’s one record that’s always evaded us
-
fucking obsessed. It's very weird.

Mid table Championship mediocrity awaits next year

Story of our history. IN my lifetime Peak times 79-85 - runners up and unlucky losers 88-91 - great football but sold all the family silver 2001-04 - Plucky losers in the FA Cup final 2013-17 - Blew it in Europe, plucky cup final losers again Lower league titles League one came second in a one horse race. Championship bottled the title after a 5 point lead -
I think aside from him you have to go back to David Armstrong for anyone that’s been consistently good. Jay Rodriguez was our record signing for a couple of of months before we signed Ramirez and was decent until his injury. He’s the only one I can think of.
