  1. The Villa Pina in Masa Labrense Italy, fantastic. Local Italians travel up from Naples and Sorrento to eat here and every night is full of local wealthy Italians with views across the bay of Naples to Capri. Apparantly Pavarotti was a regular there. It's also a hotel with rooms across the road from the restaurant. In this country l'ortolan in Reading and in Southampton probably Ennios.
  2. Why dont you think we've deserved to? We've got 89 points which would have been enough to finish 2nd every season for the last 10 years, win saturday and 92 points would be the highest points total for second in the last 10. Given out shocking start that is a good effort. We have played some decent football as well, admittedly not been brilliant every week but who is?
  3. They are nothing like Bolton. Bolton have a bit of history and fill their ground now and again. WIgan are where they are because one loaded fella pumped a load of cash in. Their crowds are embarassing, 14-15k and about 200 away from home. A town and club like that doesn't deserve premier league football, a truely pointless club.
  4. I'm going to get there late, have a burger before going to my seat. At 35 minutes go down for some food, drink and a ****, come back up on 55 minutes, leave on 80 minutes to beat the traffic and spend the whole match screaming at our players to get it long when we are playing posession football.
  5. I go in the Joshua Tree pre game, just look for the best looking best dressed chap in there, that'll be me.
  6. I honestly think we are only 2 or 3 signings away from challenging for the play offs. Millwall, Leeds & Norwich proved you dont need to spend millions to challenge and in Norwichs case succeed.
  7. As did Southend in 2006 and look where they are now. One game means nothing.
  8. Cork has been on loan at Burnley and done well, he has recently said he wants out at Chelsea to get first team football, i'd have thought we'd be a good option for us and he would be a good signing for us. Vokes is a good shout, was talking to his dad at Dagenham away and he said he'd love to join us, being a Saints fan.
  9. Indeed Jamie, as the most attractive side in the country apart from those playing champions league football we could do better than those has beens. FFS.
  10. Dale Jennings That kid from Tranmere would be a good bet to replace AOC should be depart, or Matt Phillips from Blackpool.
  11. You are forgetting that some people on here think we are the most attractive side for a player to join outside of those playing in the champions league and that was when they had a season in L1 to look forward to, by that reckoning only Man United and Chelsea are more attractive now.
  12. Wigan definitely, i f*cking hate Wigan, a pointless club. Blackpool, had their season in the sun, back to reality thank you Blackburn, just to spite their new owners who sacked a decent manager doing a very good job for no real reason.
  13. Jack Cork is on my wish list please.
  14. I might have to start doing that, i tend to use my credit cards for big purchases, holidays or presents for me or the incumbent and then pay them off over a few months or so rather than £30 here and there and clearing it in full. The balances are quite high at the moment as i've recently bought a new telly plus a few other bits.
  15. strangely if i apply for 2 or more credit accounts and increase my debt to £10k over the next 6 months, according to Credit experts credit forecast tool my rating will improve to "Fair" Un-f*cking-beleivable!!!
  16. No late payments at all. Everything is up to date, they gave these reason which are positive You make all your repayments on time and in full - no accounts have been paid late in the past six months You are on the electoral roll (registered to vote) at your current address You have made two or fewer applications for credit in the last six months You don't have any county court judgments and you have not been declared bankrupt in the last six years and this one as negative. As i said, i'm using about 75% of my 3 credit cards credit at the moment. Oustanding balance of them all is £1.8k against a £2.5k limit, which will soon be going up to £3.5k as one of my credit cards has given me a £1k increase which i didn't ask for. You have several credit agreements (excluding mortgages), and the outstanding balance is high That = Very poor credit score apparantly.
  17. I signed up to credit expert and experian last month to find out what it was as i was looking at getting car finance, it was credit expert that gave me a credit report of "poor" and then "very poor" and a score.
  18. This is really p*ssing me off. Anyone an expert as to how they work this sh*t out? I have a relatively small amout of debt about £1.8k split across 3 credit cards, one of them has just doubled my credit limit, currently using 75% of my available credit (not including the recently doubled limit) as i fairly recently bought a telly and a few other bits on one of them. I've never been late on a payment, never over drawn, on the electrol roll, no CCJs, defaults etc in fact i could clear them all off in a month or two if i wanted to but chose not to, yet my credit score has gone from "poor" to "very poor" in the last month and the bottom 30% of the country even though i've recently been appoved for £10k of car finance which i have decided not to take up. Now my Bro in law earns roughly the same as i do, has £60k of debt, negative equity on his house and has recently had to reduce and extend all his payments on his loans and credit cards as he cant keep up, yet his credit score is still classed as "good" How the f*ck do they work that out? Which one is the higher risk FFS?!!!
  19. Best Plymouth, Bournemouth, Orient Worst Wallsall, Huddersfield.
  20. Good luck. Which company is it? I did IT recuritment about 10 years ago, wasn't for me to be honest but a couple of my mates do it, enjoy it and have done very very well from it.

    This.
  22. I dont hate that, we are the Man Utd of this league, that may sound arrogant but it's true. The "we dont care about you" was apt, it was Bournemouth, they hate us, we dont care about them, it's totally correct. The chants i hate are the Cortese song, embarassing, which other clubs sings songs about its chairman? Red and White Barmy army, we are not a cricket crowd and the worst one of all is the David Connolly, he's back from the dead chant. Cringeworthy, even he hates it as he showed during the game today, hopefully that'll be the last we hear of that. I've been critical of our fans in the past but the last couple of months apart from the odd embarassing moment or support home and away has been nothing short of excellent. Orient and today was some of the best away support i've experience in 25 odd years of following Saints, our away support is better now than ever. I remember us regularly only every taking 1,500 or so to Tottenham and less than 1,000 to MIdlands grounds, we get much more than that in league one. And i dont really see what the problem people have with clubs thinking we are arrogant, we are the biggest club in this division, over the second half of the season we've played the best football and been the best team , we have fantastic players that other clubs in this league can only dream off, the best stadium and the biggest fan base, we have a lot to be arrogant about. Arrogance is only a bad thing if it's unjustifed.
  23. Definitely do this, i can vouch for this 100% as i've just got a new job after being approached on linked in. It's full of recruitment agencies looking for staff and companies out job ads on there.
  24. My background is IT sales and there are a couple of decent companies up in Basingstoke who take on people with sales experience which doesn't have to be in IT. I started out at one of them, good place to start as there is loads of training and they put you through industry vendor accreditations like Microsoft, Cisco, HP etc which add an extra few £ks onto your basic when you look to move on. It's channel sales as well so not that difficult and there are loads of incentives and prizes to win like holidays, days out, TV's, Ipods, even vouchers, i won loads of stuff in my time there. You'd probably be able to get your £25k as an OTE, i know one of them is definitely taking on at the moment. If you're intrested drop me a PM and i'll send you the details.
  25. and at the end of every season for as long as i have been alive, especially when there is something to celebrate like promotion or staying up. not us though. We cant do this, it's against the law and we have to be deadly serious at all times, football is completely serious business.
