  1. But we need to strengthen at least 3 positions, namely goalkeeper, central mid and striker, that's going to cost more than £20m We need to get shot of Bella Kotchap, Alcarez and the other duffers. (not that Alcarez is a duffer, he's just not going to play much)
  2. Exactly. Get relegated, have a go at winning it next season with a better squad. Keep Edwards, Wood, Taylor, Suga, best back four in the league, Armstrong best striker. All the kids we signed in 2022 will be one year away from being developed so will be better, we might even see Stewart for a couple of games.
  3. It's highly likely. we've got the worst goalkeeper in the league and probably the worst attack, if you cant score and concede a lot then it only ends one way.

I’m always amused why fans think they need to wear Saints shirts to these events, it’s quite funny

Dave from Shirley here I’ve been a season ticket holder since 1942 and I’ve never been so let down by the catering department I love a good pint at the soccerball but £6.20 for a pint of kingfisher, plus I Read on Twitter Birmingham's are in league one and they got moretti. Why can’t we compete with these clubs for beer?
  6. 28 years old only one good season ever at championship level pretty unremarkable before that in league one and the championship. Can’t say I’m disappointed we haven’t signed him.

Given the very sensitive stage some of our dealings are at it was felt inappropriate for a member of the CoT to be on the panel. However that’s not to say we aren’t sending anyone, you might want to listen VERY carefully to one of the questions and the reply you get, make of that what you will
  9. https://inews.co.uk/news/world/how-does-australia-deal-with-migrant-boats-what-the-approach-involves-and-how-it-could-apply-to-the-uk-crisis-1318963 seems sensible
  10. Exactly. This seems to be the new bullshit spouted so much if becomes fact. A few years ago signing on fees and agents fees were the reason we couldn’t compete with other clubs now it’s because we owe money from previous transfers because unlike any other club in the wild we pay them upfront but when we sell players we do it like everyone else does
  11. Can anyone explain the kangaroo hop?
  12. Took her inspiration from this no doubt
  13. It seems an odd line to complain we owe money on transfers, surely this means we are also owed money from sales but people seem to forget about that .
  14. He does this. Makes himself look a cock , disappears for a few days then comes back a few days later like nothing happened.’just you wait
  15. Have can you do that when the EDL doesn’t exist?
  16. I wouldn't say either Morgan or Lallana developed late. We signed Morgan in the championship as an 18 year old. Both he and Lallana had played over 100 game each in league one and the championship before they kicked a ball in the premier league. They had a grounding already they wre signed have never played mens football or above league one level and expected to be premier league players immediately.
  17. which is exactly the point. We signed them to play first team football immediately when they need 3-4 years to develop. It really isn't that hard to get your head round.
  18. We got relegated finishing bottom hun, something swing with your memory?
  19. Yep, it's one thing if you're an influencer with 100,000s of thousands of follower like you said earlier, quite different if your some knob head posting from you bedroom to your mates (or bedsit as everyone gets accused of on here) stupid thing to do but 20 months is nuts.
  20. Like everything there are levels though. Posting something on facebook with no intention of going there to a closed community is one thing. Using twitter, for example, to incite a mob to join you there is something quite different. He supposedly said "everyone should be down there smashing up the hotel" or words to that effect, obvious "everyone" didn't include himself in that as he stayed at home all night by the sounds of it. Guys obviously a bit of a knob head but 20 months for that, really?
  21. Yes it's wrong no one is saying it's not, 20 months in prison though for posting that on facebook, really? Here are some of the other sentences for context 3 years for punching a policeman, 2 months from criminal damage, also the same sentence of 20 months for violent disorder. From two months to three years: First rioters jailed as arrested appear in courts across... - LBC
  22. fair price really, bottom end of what we paid for Adams and Armstrong 3-4 years ago.
  23. WTF? He plays for a midtable championship team, if we cant afford players like that we really are in trouble. Maybe we just dont want him? Sorry misread your post, say you said above him level
  24. pretty sure we tried to get both them. also Maddison nearly joined us but chose Leicester at the last minute. Quite how we we went from those 3 to signing what we did is pretty incredible. Elyanoussi instead of Maddison wasn't it?
