We generally weren’t great defensively, some of the defending in the era would have the stats merchants in meltdown these days, but we were so exciting going forward it didn’t matter. As per my post last night a good mate of mine and a football coach at a English club and a big hearts fan told me Shankland is decent enough in Scotland and knows where the goal his but his touch and movement leave a lot to be desired, which is why at 28 and with a great goal scoring record in Scotland no one in England has gone for him.
