    Che Adams

this is my prediction too, one decent one (the Stutgart guy or Dembele), one YHGTI player like Delap on loan.
  2. Im not in any way suggesting Dyche is the man for the job but Dyche has finished 7th and 10th in the premier league with a very small budget taking Burnley into Europe, he's achieved more in the premier league than Ralph has. It's easy to dismiss managers because of one bad season, like how its now fashionable to ignore everything Eddie Howe achieved at Bouremouth and repeat verbateum "he got them relegated" and how he's only doing well at Newcastle because he's got money, when at Bournemouth his critics said he was crap at spending money. All managers have a shelf life at a club, Dyche and Howe came to the end of thiers Ralph is approaching the end of his.
  3. has to be something like that surely, although United have just had a bid turned down for Arnatovic so maybe they've moved onto other targets. A club like Man United bidding for a 33 year old has been is frigging hilarious mind
  4. surely not even the most incompetent of owners would let our two best strikers go without bringing in anyone to replace them. Trying to be optimistic here as i rate Adams but the only reason we are prepared to sell him is to fund a move for a quality striker, not some kid who might come good one day but someone who can come in straight away and make an impact with 2 or 3 years of scoring regularly in a decent league. That can be the only reason. We were already one striker light, now we'll need two, so this has to be why.

    resale value
  6. You dont thinK Ralph is capable of beating that?

    Che Adams

well after an optimistic start to the window it seems it's going to end up like it always does, with glaring holes in the squad and it arguably weaker than the season before.
  8. Do the mods still get together for curry nights? Bet the Bantz is off the scale.

Smallbone MOM for stoke yesterday, reports say he was excellent
  10. From Mbappe, Neymar and Messi to Adam Armstrong, Tella and Redmond bet he'd bite our hand off.
  11. They need to back him and give him a better squad. Their recruitment has been dreadful over the last 5 years or so, no strategy or direction, just signing players. They've spent 100s of millions on absolute crap or egos like Pogba. They need a complete rebuild from the bottom up bidding for Arnatovic is a joke. Ten Haag is a good manager but i fear he might go the way of all the others.
  12. he cant have long left. it's not like they've all been narrow defeats either, a 6-0, a 4-0, a 3-0, 3 x 4-1s, so 6 hammerings in 14 games and we've conceded two or more in every game except for Arsenal and Leeds games. That's inexcusable form for a premier league club.
  13. i think that tells the story of what most think of Stephens and Bednarek.
  14. Haland is going to score a bucketload against us isn't he.
  15. are we a better option for him than Brentford though?
  16. I wonder if Les took his secret file of up coming managers with him when he cleared his desk?
  17. Brentford played 3 at the back when Rasmussen was there didn’t they? Maybe it is a directive from above although I would find it surprising if he was being forced to play a way he didn’t believe in.
  18. Dortmund supposedly also in for him so he won’t be coming here
  19. Organised hard working team with two decent centre halves who know how to do the basics well. Amazing how simple it is really.
  20. That would mean playing your best players in their best positions, which isn’t something our manager does
  21. I always remember when Fergie retired a guy on TUI insisting the Man United job was an easy which anyone could do, even Alan Pardew would win the league with them.
  22. Unbelievable that they didn’t give that. What’s the point of VAR if they’re not overturning blatant penalties
  23. Absolutely no reason to feel optimistic for this one. Our terrible form of last season has continued with the same issues that we’ve had for years. Crap at defending, far too easy to score against, lack of heart and bottle in the team and weird tactics and leadership off it. Leeds will fancy this one. No shame in losing away to spurs but the manner of defeat was troubling. Need a win badly to give the team confidence and a lift, plus you’d think Leeds will be one of the teams around us come the end of the season but I can’t really see where one is coming from.
  24. We’ve needed one since 2017, been a shambles at the back since then, still those in charge know better 🙄
