probably asked to use the loo before he left to try and find the laundry basket.
-
hey Fabrice, did you get the stuff to Russ's house okay this morning?
-
I wont say on here mate but remember when he left he disappeared for a while and people were asking where he was, no announcement from the club no communication etc, then finally a while later the club announced his departure? There was a reason for that, he didn't leave on good terms put it that way. Might be water under the bridge now but then again maybe not.

cant disagree with any of that. Signs were there in the championship, got all spiteful with Adam Blackmore a couple of times after a loss.
-
or we won promotion even though we played his way, perhaps.
-
they were a disgrace in the first half. Forget Martins tactics and philosophy bollocks, the lack of intensity was disgraceful. KWP was particularly dreadful. I've been a big fan of his but for a senior, experienced quality player he was terrible.
-
i suspect he knew but doubt he'd have been told

my sources tell me the decision was made at half time last night.

I wonder if Rohls previous stint here will stop that before it even gets going. Whilst it was different owners, management and only a few players left it'll surely be on record somewhere.
-
add in all the statistics available thrust under everyones noses and this whole data driven bollocks it's no wonder all the ones who have probably never played the game or are not a traditional fan are frothing at the gash over philosophies and processes. It's given nerds a voice in sport. As for our song sheet i cant believe we've copied that ole, ole, ole song about 6 years late. If we'd have nicked it off Napoli who did it originally not too bad but copying a song that Liverpool copied and passed off as their own years after they did it is about as cringe as it gets.
-
Do they ever learn? We have got the weirdest fan base who lap up all this sort of bollocks.

the boys will be having a well earned rest after last nights efforts.

What about if you suggested a hotel to a group of friends and immediately loads of them knew everything about it, had followed the hotel on trip advisor, knew everything about the level of service, standard of rooms, great quality of food, knew it was a brilliant hotel which was going to be perfect for you despite never staying in it themselves or knowing anyone who had until you mentioned you might book there?

Rasmus can fix that, get him an account at Arne as part of his contract.

like i said, ticks every box. Rasmus will love him

He was certainly an uninspiring appointment with no track record of success anywhere. That said I quite liked him at the start, seemed like a good guy and changed the energy around the club which had been terrible for years beforehand. However you could see he had it in him to a be a bit of a prick soon as he went through a rough spell, he'd bite at interviewers, blame anything other than himself. I was never a fan of his tactics though and felt it was dull, style over substance. That 4 game run at the start of last season was a warning sign to us all, so easy to play against if a team got it right, we had the luxury of generally having better players in the championship plus you can get away with mistakes in the championship in the premier league 9/10 you get punished. The two games against Leciester also showed how vunerable we were against a decent team. So It was pretty obvious with a history of conceding loads of goals at championship level that was only going to be worse at a higher level and so it's proved. I also do agree we got promoted inspite of him not because of him. I dont feel sorry for him. I might have done if he'd been prepared to adapt and change but he wasn't so only got himself to blame. He'll have done very well financially and another championship club will see his promotion and appoint him im sure so wont be out of work for long. Youd think he might learn from it that his whiteboard philosophy doesn't work, a game that relies on a perfect plan can never succeed with far from perfect players in a chaotic, unpredictable fast paced top environment, but i dont think he will.

The hipsters choice. Almost as exciting as when we HAD TO GET Paco Jemez despite the fact no one had heard of him or linked with the job he had a half decent record at a couple of tiny clubs in Spain. He had everything. Vasco Matos is this years version, a quick google search reveals a manager who ticks every hipster box. Portugese (or south European) ✅ (managers from here are cool again) Success at a very small south European club ✅ An article analysing his tactics on the first page on google ✅ Desribed as a tactical genius in said article ✅ Handsome ✅ He is 100% the man for us.

What situations can the fans accept with the new manager?
Turkish replied to Nolan's topic in The Saints
With our goal difference it’s 10, we’re probably going to need around 30 more points to have a chance from 22 games, not happening. Relegation is pretty much certain so it’s either a manager until the end of the season or being one in now to give it a go but accept now it’s about going again next season In the championship. it should be about going back to basics. No one appointed by data analysis alone or philosophies or any other nonsense. Build a team from the back that’s hard to beat based on a core of experienced players and build the rest around them. Let’s stop trying to reinvent the game and do what’s been tried and tested over the previous 150 years of ir -
Given our transfer history success Hit rate we’d need to sign 30 players to get 3 good ones

I don’t do it for the glory, the likes or the lol emojis, they’re just a bi-product. I don’t do it to win the internet. There is so much spreading of bad news on here I’m just a guy assigned male at birth trying to give something back in my own way. I’m grateful for every like or lol I get as it means I’m doing something to make this world a better place

Getting a few boxes together to drop Russ’s stuff off to him in the morning

It had to happen. I think he knew tonight after the game it was over
