  1. Ah but only one of you has got a substance in them that you don’t know what it contains. Whilst you were in the alps having fun and he was sitting at home in his flat in Leeds only one of you was truly free. Spoiler alert it wasn’t you.
  2. Good point. When is the big switch on? No one seems to have mentioned that for a while, all part of the plan, yes
  3. “Above Bobby Charlton, above Harry Kane” Do they not think about the nonsense they spout?
  4. We all know what that means….
  5. The guardian, the BBC, BLM website,
  6. Agreed! BIt like when people in their 50s and upwards boast about having people on ignore on a football forum. How naracissistic is it to think people care whose posts you dont read on a football forum! What name it even weirder is when they lie about it and dont even have them on ignore, often giving the game away by replying to their posts, that is properly mental!
  7. FA Cup winners to be awarded champions league spot, great news! Oh wait it only applies to the big clubs.... FA Cup winner to get Champions League spot if they are a 'big club' | Metro News
  8. The amusing thing is soggy is one of the worst for lazy abuse. He uses this place and the ugly inside to preach and be all pious. If anyone dares to tell him this he goes into defensive mode, how often has the phrase “forums Tommy Robinson” been trotted out, or “Just like Trump” or the current one of calling people he doesn’t like narcissists as his lazy attempt at put downs. The funny thing being with his pious, condescending posts he’s the one showing all the narcissistic traits. He also repeatedly lies, such as the amount of times he’s boasted about having people on ignore then slips up by reply to a post, again throws his toys out the pram when he gets the piss taken out of him for it. He’s started several threads just to have a completely unprovoked pop at people on here so in his case if you can’t take it don’t dish it out. To be blunt any post with Soggy on it isn’t going to get the high level of debate you seems to crave.
  9. Who is in your opinion a reliable outlet? What has led you to believe this is the case?
  10. Who would you describe as a reliable outlet? And lve no idea why you keep banging on about the sun!
  11. By "stopped engaging" you mean replying to pretty much every post i make then you sure did. The problem is, much like the Murdoch post as a recent example, pretty much most stuff goes over your head. Enjoy your train ride pal, as i've said before you could bore for England.
  12. You can google it if yourself like, it's not hard, you'll likely find the same things as i did. Do you fact check every single article you read, what with it being a long process and all that?
  13. Yoy seem to be completely incapable of having a discssion without getting all spiteful and personal. Sad.
  14. they all gave different figures to the one given out by the Met Police. Some not giving figures at all or playing the numbers down, just saying more than 100. ANy closer to who we should believe on this one?
  15. Yep, because the post and reaction clearly went over your head. And you accuse me of not getting it.
  16. Jesus Wept.
  17. Yes they are! One of the young lads in our team (23 one year off the grad scheme) has a centre parting and a malbrough classics denim jacket!!
  18. Okay so lets take the BLM London protests as an example. The BBC and Guardian described them are largely peaceful protests, with images of black and white people stood side by side. Meanwhile other outlets showed videos of violence with articles describing rioting & mass arrests. Two very different versions of the same event. Who was right? Who do we believe?
  19. okay so it comes down to personal choice. So does that not suggest that you would lean towards sources that confirm your own views? Soggy for example takes everything in the BBC and Guardian as gospel. Other people believe the BBC is full of fake news. WHo is right?
  20. So if they all have ties to government getting most of their stories from, which ones are the most trustworthy?
  21. whatever.
  22. How do we decided what is a good and bad source? How about answering my quesiton about would you trust a newspaper with very close ties to the tory government? Or any other government for that matter.
  23. So you've chose to completely ignore my point earlier when i stated clearly "Take your information from a wide range of sources* then form an opinion, do not only take your information from sources which are confirmation bias." and you launched into a defence of how great the Indepedant is
  24. See there you go again, "you dont understand" "you dont get it" too most discussions end up with you having to resort to this when you get tied up in knots.
  25. im not going to list all the occasions a media outlet had been shall we call it econimical with the truth, we'd be here all day! How would you feel about a newspaper, that had say, very close personal ties to the Conservative party, trustworthy or not?
