The only signing I remember anyone unanimously deciding was a joke was Carillo and that was more aimed at the hipsters making out he had a goal record of one in two when everyone could see he was utter shite and so it prived what I see here is a club in desperate need of a good player in a certain position and we’ve made a lot of money from selling players yet when we could have paid a bit more for proven quality we’ve gone for someone cheap who looks a risk. He might turn out to be brilliant and if he does everyone will be delighted. But on the face of it will he come in and make us better straight away liike we need him too? You’d have to say no.

Our last summer signing looks to be someone no better than we have I think. Armstrong is a good player and will get goals, Adams is a competent premier league striker now. We’ve signed a few players with great potential but our soft centre will be our undoing. Can’t defend, two crap goalkeepers. We can’t do the ugly stuff. Don’t concede don’t lose as boring as it is. We concede far too easily. At best a relegation battle, starting to think we’ll go this year.

It feels like 2008/09 season again. Selling off our more experienced players, gambling on young players or cheap imports.
