Interesting that the young players we’ve signed or have been linked with are defenders. Wonder if that just coincidence or we think we’ve got a few good attacking players coming though already
-
Thierry, woooohooooo He comes from Solihull He thinks that Pompeys dull

It is fantastic, but it's not being more Woke though. It wont be long before all the fuckwits screaming about how everyone and everything is racist is confined to a few old codgers that never seen black people in the middle class white villages and a few gutless cheerleaders who still applauded from the sidelines every single cause there is even though it's not needed and probably doing more harm than good.

Swap Boruc and Jones round IMO. You forgot Gazzaniga 😄 Agree with your summary on McCarthy. Bizarre how often he ends up behind the line, seems to be a regular thing. His confidence looks shot to pieces.
-
Yes unfortunate as i'd like to see his response to your post about the drop in hate crime. I'm sure he's got plenty of real life experience of how this is incorrect what with knowing a muslim barber.
-
He doesn't have any black friends (apart from his barber and bar maid in his local) but those that do on here are racist nazis, it's frigging hilarious Interestingly i see he claims more and more people are "calling them out" When this thread seem to once be absolutely in agreement each other, that being what an absolute whopper Soggy is.

How's your barber pal? Did you tip him extra today as you are obviously in a speaking out mood?
-
Scored against our u23s last week I believe
-
We wont be signing Jude Bellingham mate
-
Yeah but i'd rather not be thinking about how much we can sell them for in the future, more interested in what they can do whilst they are here. Once they're gone they might as well not exist.
-
I prefer to look at it as signing a bunch of youngsters we can build a great young team around, not worry about how much we can sell them for.
-
Has he? He signed as a 16 year old, signed his first pro contract in the summer and has played several times for the u23s at just 18. I wouldn't describe that as stalling.
-
When he joined we were being tipped by many for relegation having sold 5 players and another in Jay Rodriguez out with a long term injury. It's not like he was joining a team that was flying and nailed on for Europe.
-
He seems like quite a funny bloke, he did a few video interviews during the first lockdown and came across really. He's a proper unit too. Become a really good player.
-
No, we’ll get to the third floor and let all our good players get off the elevator again
-
KWP, finds JWP, great ball to Small, to smallbone, to Armstrong, to Adams, It’s Adam Armstrong, 1-0! Going to be great being a commentator for us
-
Thought that earlier. Building a team of u23s with the best ones integrated into the first team. Training with them, in the match day squad if good enough, with the idea being that we have a core of good young players to step in to replace out going’s, only spending when we have too. We then sell them on replacing with the next batch. It’s a good strategy to have but it means bringing in top young talent that fulfills their potential. Sadly for every one that does there are half a dozen that don’t.

Who on here has been watching a lot of Everton’s youth team and can give us the low down? on the face of it looks good, YHGTI. Low fee to bring him (+£5m agents fees and bonuses) and a high potential resale value. (Minus the massive agents fees and bonuses) must have made some guarantees about first team football too as that’s why he’s leaving Everton
-
I remember when David Moyes was scoffed at as being a manager for us. Proving again he’s a very capable manager. They will steam roller teams, very powerful
-
How much can we sell him for?
-
Sure I read last week a premier league club bid £1.5m, Everton want £3m. Presume that would be us as the sort of thing we do. Maybe that caused today’s events with the player

West Ham 2 up and battering Leicester, Which is a surprise as I always thought it was harder to play against 10
