That's what i mean when i say he could have one of those seasons where he gets 15-20 goals. It's not like he doesn't get in the positions, he often does he just seems to lack that little bit of composure, smashing the ball as hard as he can rather than placing it in the net the the very top players do. Like you say if he goes on a little run and gets some confidence he's capable of having a great season. Overall a good player and like you say intelligent, good position, good at bringing others into the game. I guess Armstrong was brought in to be the fast, mobile player alongside him but that's not quite worked out so far.

I rate Adams, think he's a very good football and we're a better team when he's in it. He's obviously not prolific in front of goal and sometimes you wonder quite how he missed some of the chances he does but overall rather him in the team than not. If he could just manage an extra couple of goals a season to make him a 10 goal a season striker than that's not bad return for £15m. He could also quite easily have one of those seasons where he ends up with 15-20 goals when everything he hits goes in rather than straight at the keeper like some of his chances do now.
