By contrast it’d be interesting to see is many football fans feel the same about section 60. I know many, many fans who have been stopped and searched under this legislation often for doing little More than being closE to where a football match was being played. Others have received bans due to dossiers of evidence which show them doing very little wrong. Incorrect. We have our academy poster boy white english guy and captain. A mixed race scottish fella, a black young player breaking into the first team and a foreign player, plus one of the girls team in some of the other promotional shots. We've shown to the world we are an inclusive club, having another white english bloke in the photos would upset the balance.

Lemina and Hoedt were on an upward trajectory. Lemina was considered to be a huge coup when we got him, Hoedt was playing for the Netherlands national team, both went backwards big time, we cant give them away. The the reality is whilst we can make all the excuses we like the facts are that a large number of recent signings careers have regressed since joining us. That means players wont automatically see us as a great stepping stone to bigger things.

How often has that happened in the last 4 years? We were a great stepping stone club but you could say a lot of players careers have gone backwards since joining us in recent times. I don’t think Lemina, Hoedt, Boufal would be glowing in their praise of us being a stepping stone club, their stock was a lot higher before they joined us

IIRC that was our first proper striped kit for a long time. We had the Keegan kit c80-84, then the plain red one with the white and black bits, followed the hummel denmark half plain, half stripes kit. IMO all of them plus the sash kits we've had were miles better than any striped effort including this season.
