One of those classic Poch games where Arsenal fans will say its their worst performance of the season, but its because Spurs aren't giving them any time on the ball. We had loads of those under him.

Really well drilled off the ball, attack with purpose. Lots of young, athletic players rather than Schweinsteiger type players past their best. Took longer than he expected but coming together for them now. If they could add some real quality in attack to compliment Kane and Eriksen next summer then they would have a really class first XI. Alli for £6m was a steal. Everyone knew he was one of the best young, English lads around, suprised only Spurs, Villa and Newcastle really went for him. Definition of a low risk, high potential buy.

Poch is such a good Manager, has got Spurs playing really well. Definitely look the most likely to capitalise on Chelsea failings to claim 4th...which is why he left us I guess.

It can't really be any worse than they have now. Saints fans had a (mostly) fantastic time under Cortese, certainly on the pitch which is what matters most. Surely every Saints fan would rather have had Cortese when we did than someone else? I'm sure any Leeds fans would rip your arm off for even half of the success and structure Cortese brought us in a football sense.

He probably is ideal for them if they want to get back to the PL.

He hasn't really let in any which he should have saved (Willian free kick only possible one) so that gives you the answer. Cech has played the same number of games and faced double the shots, but most of them were probably tame efforts from outside the box. These kind of stats can be interpreted in so many ways. Plus something like the keeper making the defence calmer is hard to statistically quantify, as is good distribution, claiming crosses etc.

Nobody is hating. People are just stating the fact that Cedric is a better right back than Yoshida.

Was clear from Allardyce's comments this week that they were not playing two up front. Not that it mattered in the end regardless.
