Start for Romeu alongside Wanyama and Davis with Jay dropping to the bench? Or front four again? Worried about Coleman vs Targett if he gets no protection
-
One clear difference is obvious: Clasie's attitude miles better. He is a fighter. Also nothing you can really do when someone falls on your leg like the City guy did.

CONFIRMED - Oriol Romeu joins on 3-Year Deal

Good player, would suit that Davis role well IMO. But Spurs won't give him to a rival, even if they don't want him. -

Martinez also very clear on Stones. Will be amazed if he is still at Everton in September, but fair play if he is. What do people want the Manager's to say? Of course they say their best players aren't for sale. I don't think Fonte will go, but there is obviously a reason (money) that this has come up. -

Think that Captain stuff is ********. Van Dijk wouldnt care about that. Pretty clear RK would be livid (rightly so) if we agreed to sell Fonte so better hope Reed has the same view, I'm sure he will. Re VVD pretty clear from Koeman comments re end of window that it will be after the CL qualifiers if we sign him. -

Koeman seemed very pleased to bring him in which bodes well. -

RK clear on Fonte. Delia clear on VVD. Neither player for sale. -

They were happy enough to sign a fair few players, presumably on decent money and also to even entertain paying Adebayor massive cash so I wouldn't discount that they may be prepared to offer Fonte a rise from his current deal. I'm sure he will stay, but we might have to offer him more money to keep him happy. Otherwise why change Agent? The new TV deal must see sensible player reassess what they are worth, especially the skipper of a good PL team. -
But we have 3 and only would need 5 if Fonte went, so if he doesn't then we only need one more and Koeman has only said he is looking for one more centre back.

He would have seen Lovren and Alderweireld move to bigger clubs remember and probably both now earn substantially more than him. Also a late reacher of the top level so minimal earning time versus some other players. Lets face it, if he stays at Saints now then thats him here for his career or at least the best bits. Maybe he wants (as one of the best PL defenders last year) to earn the best wage he can, be that at Saints or elsewhere? -

Just wondered if you had captured it correctly. Seems you have so thats fine. No personal attack, unlike your post. -

As someone said, why change agent if you are happy with your contract? -

Would be a terrible move for us. Even more so because he is one of the few players we have to have a history with, and passion for, the club. Probably a new contract ruse. If not, no chance we should be forced to sell our best defender to a competitor. -

Could be a nice new contract on the way though! -

Has the OP had a mare here with his sensationalist reporting of a link? For those who didn't see it, what exactly was said? -
Of course. Stekelenburg and Forster are not even comparable to Gazza. He needs a loan spell and shouldn't be the no 2 keeper in a PL side. He wouldn't be a no1 for the vast majority of Championship sides.
-
When it counted in the U21s two nights ago he was feeble to say the least.
-
Jesus. Gazzaniga doesn't command his own feet let alone the box. Lets see Stekelenburg in more games then say he is better than Forster, who did very well for us last year.

Unlikely. But Di Marzio rarely wrong so definitely interesting and either way we are targetting top quality CBs so thats good. http://www.thesirenssong.com/2014/11/3/7146263/kalidou-koulibaly-napoli-french-monster-in-defense

The ever reliable Di Marzio says we have bid €12m for Koulibaly. Back up plan to van Dijk or first choice? http://gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/napoli-ce-lofferta-del-southampton-per-koulibaly-la-situazione/
