  1. I would pick: ---------------------------------------Boruc------------------------------------------------- Clyne---------------------Fonte--------------------Lovren------------------------Shaw ---------------------------Davis-------------------Schneiderlin-------------------------- Lallana----------------------------Ramirez-------------------------------Rodriguez -----------------------------------Lambert---------------------------------------------
  2. Agree. Gazza is crying out for a loan spell to play 40 league games in L1. Cropper must also need that soon enough.
  3. Lambert does best against the poorer sides at home. Best performances have been Hull and Fulham at home IMO.
  4. Glasgow's decline is sad to see for a once humerous poster. Needs a timeout. Hope you get the help you need pal.
  5. Sounds in a nutshell like commercial growth and Academy focus. Sales of the odd player every couple of years to keep the books balanced.
  6. Hopefully it happens if its right. But there are many higher priorities for him now.
  7. So to spend more cash to you need to earn more, hence the commerical growth talk...
  8. He didn't. He said it was secondary behind the training ground. Not that it is his second overall priority for the club as a whole.
  9. Like this comment on Poch and his coaching staff: “There is a really, really good leadership group there. Strong, solid. They are very good people but they are very talented.”
  10. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/11071841.Saints_will_fight_to_keep_their_top_stars/?ref=mac Bit more context here.
  11. Its embarassing. Especially when there hasnt even been any serious talk about the ground and less than half of games have sold out despite our best team in decades.
  12. End of the day, everyone knows Shaw will leave this summer. Plus it would not suprise most fans is CL clubs came in for Lovren, Schneiderlin and Lallana, so for sure at least one will go this summer. He cannot promise what he cannot achieve.
  13. I read it as the TG is the priority, rather than the ground is a second priority after that. I'm sure the ground is fairly low on the list. Interesting he talked about "living within our means".
  14. Seems like he has played it well, been open but actually promised little.
  15. Interview on SSN about 5.30 for anyone who is interested.
  16. End of the day though, most "ambition" comes down to how much money we have and/or are willing to spend, and that is an unknown, always has been to an extent in the Liebherr era.
  17. As FF says, the reaction of Pochettino will be a big indication. If he stays and signs a new deal then he obviously believes in the new structure. If he were to walk away then it would be worrying. But from what RK says in the video, they seem quite hopeful he will stay, and importantly, seem to rate him highly.
  18. From his video it sounds hopefully that Poch will sign a new deal.
  19. Thats quite some leap from a standard Corporate sentence.
  20. Yeah, there was also a longer radio clip from the US where he said the same and seemed to have a very good grasp of the role needed, and sounded very respectful of MP and the job he was doing. He has managed teams and national teams so he knows the Manager/Coach needs to be left to do their job, and the areas you can assist is around the sides of that.
  21. Krueger obviously isnt the business link. There will be others, Gareth Rodgers included that provide that expertise. The structure appears well staffed from a sporting perspective, which has to be good - people that know the requirements of professional sport.
  22. From all the brief interview snippets that have been posted on here his quotes have been spot on and he seems to 'get' what is and isn't required. Also comes off the back of an Olympic gold medal in a team sport. End of the day the key is what his remit is, what job KL wants him to do and what she will fund him to do. Cortese did a superb job with lots of control and resources, hopefully Kreuger will have similar, albeit with a different personal style.
  23. Will be the best signing of 2014 if he stays, and should help to keep some of our better players at the Club. Really is important to keep him. You don't do well by losing Managers of his quality.
  24. No - watching our players this season has been far more entertaining than watching Hull (who we have comfortably beaten twice).
  25. Big blow as Morgan only 2 yellows away from a 2 match ban.
