Guly isn't our best player, but he is far from our worst. He is ok. He was good in L1 and decent in the Championship. I wouldnt have him in our starting XI when everyone is fit but he is an ok option to have. For little cost he has given 3 years good service so I say he has overall been a good signing. If you don't agree I don't mind.

TBF I do agree with the OP on that point. That goal from JR wasn't IMO the kind that Lambert would get against Cahill and Ivanovic, just as there are many types that Lambert would score that JR wouldn't. It was a great run and finish from Jay.

Plus the players often outlive the Managers at a club. If a new Manager comes in, it can be someone with the same philiosphy ie play out from the back, passing football and the players existing at the club are likely to fit more with that because they are recruited by the club not the Manager.

I support this motion. It is strange that a new user would suddenly find the Forum and post hundreds of times per month. There is also talk that he has returned with a new alias despite having been banned before. Multiple identities are banned under the Forum rules. Will be interesting to see what the Mods do. Its a shame that on a thread of 42 posts, 13 of them are from a Troll who isn't even attempting to discuss the player - one who we are said to have made an offer for. Feb seems realistic to me. We will find out anyway because the Journalists always ask NA if he is playing and he always says he 'isn't fit for this game'.
