  1. N'Guessan is the prime example of how pace and power can be overrated and useless without an aspect of skill and intelligence too.
  2. N'Guessan would be a good option for Portsmouth though. Suprised he hasn't turned up there on trial.
  3. In all seriousness one good wide player would transform that 4-5-1 system. A Bellamy, Arshavin, Pienaar type of player would be ideal. Someone who can be a great 1v1 - we really lack those type of players.
  4. Forte is clearly not good enough and hasn't even featured for the development squad recently. I saw that Tonbridge Angels wanted to take him on loan. Laughable that you would consider him for the Prem.
  5. Antonio was raw in L1 so doubt he is up to the Prem. Reading are selling him to Sheff Weds anyway. N'Guessan has scored goals at Championship level and IMO is no different to Jay Rod or Clyne. Everyone says we need pace and power and he has that in abundance IMO.
  6. I always thought Dany N'Guessan looked good and especially after seeing the highlights someone posted of the Exeter game, he out a great cross in. Perhaps he would be a better priced candidate than Lens for the wide role?
  7. This. Now can we draw a line under this and move back to the actual point of the thread? Adkins clearly said on Channel 5 that more players will be arriving...
  8. As I have said previously in this thread this is the moment for Cortese to show the ambition of the club. We don't need to sell. Shaw recently signed a three year contract and is clearly going to be class. If City, Chelsea and Arsenal are keen then they obviously think he is a Champions League player of the future. Cortese to Arsenal: He isn't for sale. For us to sell you will have to make a ridiculous offer otherwise what's in it for us. Come back with £25m otherwise kindly **** off. End of discussion, don't bother talking to us about him again unless you have that money on the table. Thanks. Bye. (Not saying he is worth that kind of money but might be one day, let's send a message that we aren't anyone's feeder club anymore).
  9. If he doesnt feature tomorrow then there is probably something in it.
  10. Probably a good move for all parties. He was a great free signing, our first since the takeover I think. Has more than done his job.
  11. According to an actual, real football agent and Forest fan on Twitter.
  12. They have to be realistic. Once the contract runs out you have little bargaining power and tribunals are often farcically weighted in favour of the buyer.
  13. Going to Blackburn for 3.5m apparantly.
  14. Assume Brighton are Cat 2? Any idea on Reading?
  15. Of course. For the clubs like Newcastle what a disaster especially when Sunderland and Boro are in such close proximity.
  16. We can add them to the list. Either way, Prem clubs not in Cat 1 will be a minority.
  17. You get a 3 year membership and then it is reviewed.
  18. Wolves have got it. Reckon the only Prem teams that won't are probably Swansea, Wigan and QPR.
  19. Stoke granted Cat 1 too.
  20. More of a WUM I reckon.
  21. See my post above, Barca and Metalist. Bayern also likely to provide input.
  22. Think you will find its Barcelona and somewhat suprisingly, FC Metalist Kharkhiv from Russia.
  23. Very important for the future.
  24. Would be good if it was, sounds like just the kind of defender we need.
