Whats the point of quoting the Star? Davis will be absolutely fine, Everton have said so re Naismith who is in the exact same situation. Re Buttner who knows - the longer it goes the more unlikely IMO.

Sounds like Vitesse are pretty annoyed by it all. Think the statement on their site is a way of saying "Make a decision either way, but don't mug us off". Should be a quick resolution now, can't imagine we are going to stay keen on a Player if they are making it this hard, should have been a simple deal.

You can't deny Pardew's impact at all, but Adkins ultimately has delivered the back to back promotions and has done a 9.5/10 job since being here. Lambert has improved massively under Adkins, and may well have done under Pardew, but think back to the start of the season when Pardew got sacked...Lambert was well below par, and Adkins has got the best out of him in both L1 and then in CCC to the extend he was player of the year. Not bad.

Ive said loads of times on Adomah: how many goals and assists did he get last season? For a winger, not enough. Good player, will take people on etc but is he any better than De Ridder? I think we could do better.
