That was Ward-Prowse. Ward-Prowse, Jake Sinclair and Jordan Turnbull also were featured on the OS as training with the first team a while back. I think Ward-Prowse has a pro deal and has been in the matchday squad (but not on the bench) a couple of times this season.

He played 90mins for our U18s on Saturday.

Don't think he has been released - he has been told he will be/is likely to be at the end of the season and Saints are helping to fix him up with another club.

We should end up with the best GD of the three - could be crucial. Also, as much as the playoffs would be hell I think we have a team that actually would do well. We have a "winning record" against the teams we would be likely to face and are solid at the back with reliable goal threats. Tend also to rise to the occassion against the better teams. That said - we are in a great position for auto - the next 2 games are crucial, win them both and we will be in a brilliant position.

If Lallana is back for MK Dons and Chamberlain only out for two weeks then that wouldn't be too bad, the rest might do AOC some good anyway.

Chamberlain is being rested until the Playoffs. Lallana's head just wasn't right because he wanted Brian Howard to sign and become Captain. Otherwise no, doubt we will hear for a while - would say AOC's was worse from how he left the pitch.

Maybe Saints think Dale Stephens is/will be better than Brian Howard? Entirely plausible, one on the way up, the other arguably beyond his peak. People have moaned before that we never exploit the lower league market, and then moan when we do....

Don't fret about Chaplow matey, you can't infuence whther he stays or goes. Just control the controllables.

Ok, thats your opinion. I have to agree re Chaplow's recently displays but IMo hammond gets a lot of unfair stick and is actually in his best form as a Saints player. I am perfectly happy with him as captain, as we do have other leaders on the pitch ie Fonte, Davis, Lallana.
