Agree and it can be frustrating. It's a common trait that we score a goal then are happy to sit back rather than go for the jugular. I get that we want to keep it tight after taking the lead but this only gives the impetus to the opponents. We'd be far better pushing for more goals to finish teams off. As we proved at Leicester when there was no choice but to keep going for goals we can be quite formidable when we don't put the handbrake on. Should have gone hell for leather at Charlton as soon as we scored but let them back in. We are a good side when in full cry but seem afraid to cut loose so it rarely happens.

I think we suffered from making so many changes for the FA Cup game against Leicester. I get the idea of giving players a break but it rarely leads to a good performance in the next game - a bit like when we always look sluggish after an international break. Should have rested a couple but not the whole side. No need for it.

Controversial view but I think Cam Bragg is the guy who makes us tick in midfield and should be starting more games. He's good now but would benefit from a run of games. IMO he's the crucial link and the brightest midfielder we have but we're wasting his talents.

Charlton have had a real mixed bag of results but there have been some good victories. For example they beat Ipswich 3-0 at Portman Road. Doesn't help us but teams are generally not going to just roll over against us. We're a decent side but not that good that we should routinely expect to beat every team that rocks up at St Marys. We've seen that it's been a season full of upsets and unexpected results. We're not exempt from dropping points when we all expect a win. There are still play-off places up for grabs - if we play to our potential we have a decent chance of continuing to be one of those challenging but all teams will drop points in a disappointing fashion.

Ok, if you say so but there's a lot of points still to play for. Not the result we wanted but, win the next two and that's 20 points out of 24 - not many sides will match that. Just got to win the next two now 🙂

Not sure why Wolves signed AA. He doesn't cut it in the Prem, never has and is looking even worse than he did for us. Still, he'll be good to go for them next season when they are in the Championship.

We are right in the play off mix as it stands.

They'll be nervy after what we did to them at their place. Tear into them from the first whistle, get an early goal and they'll collapse like an England batting order in Australia.

Wow, that's scary for Leicester but they have made some ridiculous decisions. The amount they spent on their elite new training facility which includes a five star hotel for players and a nine hole golf course is a millstone round their neck because of the massive running costs. They built the hotel and golf course which bring zero revenue but high running costs. Covid has impacted them more than any other football club because King Power, the business that owns and runs the club, is reliant on duty free profits in Thailand and mainly Chinese customers. These profits were decimated during Covid because the Chinese could not travel and, when the travel ban was lifted, they did not come back in the same numbers. It's a perfect storm made worse by them having no relegation clauses in terms of player wages. The guy explains that, if they go down to League 1 this season and fail to bounce straight up they'll be out of parachute payments which is about all that's keeping them afloat.

Is it only us this guy hates on or does he produce this sort of nonsense after every Leicester defeat?

Just seen the highlights - the miss after the keeper spills a save was ridiculously bad. No excuses for that.
